Hi everyone, I am a Nigerian citizen and a permanent resident of Canada.

My country is among the banned countries.
I have my visitor visa interview coming up at the end of August.
The round-trip flight to the consulate will cost about $800.

Since the program is currently paused, I’m wondering if it’s still worth attending the interview, or if I should just wait until I become a Canadian citizen in 2028 and then visit the USA.

I would really appreciate your advice.
