I’m graduating soon, so I’ve been applying for jobs as much as I can regardless of whether they’re entry level or not.

But I feel like I’m struggling with my cover letters. A lot of the positions I’m applying for are owned by the same company’s (Sinclair or Nexstar) and I’m not sure if I should write a cover letter for why I want to work for that company, why I want to work in that position, make it about location, aspirations, etc.

I’m also not sure which cover letter format I should be using either.

Any tips with this?

Hi, I’ve been considering going vegetarian for a while now and maybe eventually vegan, but I think that commitment is too much for me right now especially as someone who eats meat a lot and my whole family does as well.

I mostly just eat chicken—the other animal products I consume on a regular basis are milk and maybe cheese, but outside of that I don’t have much else to quit.

For chicken, does anyone have any recommendations for mock/fake chicken either at walmart, aldi, or other places that tastes pretty similar?

I’m open to other recommendations as well and if there’s stuff I should look for when shopping!

Hi everyone, I’m a journalism student set to graduate this Fall. I feel like I’ve built a solid portfolio over the past 2-3 years I’ve been in this field, but I feel so unprepared to actually start applying for jobs in journalism.

I also feel that my portfolio might be a little behind compared to others, especially since I’ve only worked in print media when my goal is to move into broadcast.

Are there certain platforms many journalists use to apply for jobs? Are there any tips you guys have to offer for before I submit my job application?

I want to continue playing but not sure where or what places offer them in Statesboro.
