When sideloaded on Onn 4K Plus, game plays very much like its console version. It runs smoothly with perfect controller support (using 8BitDo SN30 Pro with BT connection here). KNULLI SCARAB 20260511 is out!

KNULLI Scarab is a major update which brings a ton of new features and quality-of-life features. Most notably,

Unreal (1998) Native Android Port (Onn 4K Plus)

This is the recently released Android port of Unreal (1998) (https://github.com/Andiweli/Unreal-Android). It requires assets from Unreal v200 (or v205 demo). It will NOT work with Unreal Gold. Both keyboard and controller are supported.

HUD rendering is a bit buggy right now (it seems to only affect Mali GPU in my test). If "Options > HUD Configuration" is set to mode 0, 1, 3, or 4, translator will leave a very distracting white trail on the screen. Mode 2 is still buggy but less distracting. Mode 5 completely removes HUD (so no rendering artifact) but makes it difficult to track health and items.

This is the recently released Android port of Unreal (1998) (https://github.com/Andiweli/Unreal-Android). It requires assets from Unreal v200 (or v205). It will NOT work with Unreal Gold. Control is already remapped to gamepad.

The translator UI is bit buggy at this point. Try to set "Options > HUD Configuration" to 2 or 5. Other options will leave a white trail on the screen.

It was part of the "Sega Forever" series (F2P with ads). Ads were later removed before its delisting. "SPT World Tour" mode has 18 tournaments. Game supports controller (although touch overlay can't be turned off).

Jeod ported it to PortMaster. It should also work on other RGXX devices. You can download it at Jeod's Retro Handheld Ports.

You'll need "Links Awakening DX HD v1.0.0.zip" in "zelda-ladxhd/data" folder. Internet connection is required for patching because patch file is downloaded from https://github.com/BigheadSMZ/Zelda-LA-DX-HD-Updated.

There is a bug with Jeod's port right now. It will crash at opening scene. Log shows the source of crash is "Could not find file '/storage/roms/ports/zelda-ladxhd/data/Content/Shader/PixelGrid.xnb'". AFAIK, PC version doesn't have "PixelGrid.xnb" file and "Pixel Grid Shader" option is greyed out. To fix the crash, you can just create a dummy file (or make a copy of another .xnb file) and name it "PixelGrid.xnb".

This is a new indie rouge-lite gambling game released last month (Google Play, Steam). I beat the game in one sitting yesterday (~5 to 6 hours). That's how addictive it is. My initial play loops were slightly grindy (mainly due to not knowing the best strategy to combine scratchcards and perks). After new game mechanics opened up, later play loops felt fresh enough and went much faster.

Not much re-play value right now once it's beat. But dev plans to add more contents.

I already posted the news here. It was released on r36swiki for R36S. But it should also work on some Anbernic devices with PortMaster support. On my RG34XXSP with ROCKNIX, it needs a few extra steps to work:

  • Add "libbsd.so.0" & "libmd.so.0" to "gtasa" folder (where APK & OBBs are). They can be found inside the "libs.ROCKNIX" folder of Morrowind port file.
  • Edit "Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.sh" in text editor. Change "export SDL_VIDEODRIVER=kmsdrm" (on line 35) to "export SDL_VIDEODRIVER=wayland".

In KNULLI, I can launch the game by commenting out the entire line 35 ("#export SDL_VIDEODRIVER=kmsdrm") since KNULLI doesn't use kmsdrm or wayland. But control is completely borked and I can't start a new game. I also tried other possible values, but none worked.
