Missing Family Member - Andrew (Andy) Smith

hey all - Kind of a long shot here, but would love if someone knew where he was. Last I knew, Andy was unfortunately homeless and on drugs. Last I knew, he was in Sedgwick county jail, June 2025.

He’s bald, and has some tattoos, most notably a peace pipe on his left forearm, an small tribal eagle on his left forearm, a tree root with the name “Shandi” on his left hand. About 5’7 and used to work as a pressman in various printing shops.

For context, I do not live in the state and haven’t since 2014. if anybody knows anything, send a DM or comment. I’ll edit the post if anybody has questions. just trying to reconnect.

EDIT: He and lot of his family lived in Haysville.

As title says, I took my first steps a couple days ago. Starting with intermittent walking/jogging (1 min./30 seconds respectively).

Hoping to be able to run 5k by the start of next year, and hoping to lose some weight!

starting weight: 285

goal: 220 -230.

31m, new father, job is sinking fast

Hey all, looking for some advice. I’m a 31M, and had been a line cook from 18-27, then went to community college for an English degree.

Got hired on as a freelance editor and then eventually full time for a niche manufacturing media brand (website and print magazine). The company is losing money faster than it can sell advertising, so there’s going to be personnel cuts, and I’m first on the chopping block.

My daughter was also just born a month ago. I’m looking for what to do next and make more money. I’m definitely thinking about going to college, at least online so I can watch my daughter while wife returns to office, but in the meantime, what do I do in terms of my career?

I live near NYC and my dream job is to work for a publishing house, but they’re highly competitive. I also want to publish a few novels; I have a few that are finished, but that’s not a stable paycheck.

What do I do as a new dad?

Online degree recommendations?

Hey all! Recent dad here. My little one had to stay in St. Peter’s NICU in New Brunswick. Between the stressful days there, I was enamored by the Rutgers facilities and talked to some current students.

I’m sold on attending college again, especially at Rutgers. I have an associates degree in English from Hudson County Community College in Jersey City, so I already have 60 credits.

Not really sure on what to go for in terms of major. Any recommendations?

Daughter was born with imperforate anus

Hey all. My wife and I were in the NICU for nine days after our little one was born in late May. Our daughter was delivered via elective c-section, and had some leftover amniotic fluid in the lungs.

She stayed in the NICU for two days for TTN, but was transferred to a better hospital that night. They discovered an imperforate anus (closed rectum) and she had recto vestibular fistula.

We’ve been talking with surgeons and the assured us that it would be an easy procedure but I’m just looking for reassurance at this point. It has been a hell of a ride so far.

Would really appreciate some other success stories with malformations or congenital differences.
