It spoofs the old beer commercials from the time and it also shows how not everyone back then was on board with the Yuppies and Reaganomics.
Ironically this comes from what is regarded as one of the long running show's worst seasons.

It could also end up potentially taking away credibility from real cases of power/sexual abuse from powerful people.
We also can't forget how it can often be used by conservatives to take down LGBTQ celebrities by playing into the harmful "groomer" image or celebrities of color to play into the angry scary thug" image , or hell, be used to take down powerful women.
