Is nobara worth it for beginners?

Hi I've tried like 4 linux distros and I've been wanting to switch fully my only issue atp is bo3 which annoys me to no end. I've tried Pop os and cachy os and linux mint, linux mint is surprisingly the only one I used that just works catchy just had rolling updates that broke it more than fixed it and it bugged me a lot so I went back to windows 11 temporarily until I could do the research to get it right and I'm just wondering if switching to nobara would be the move if not I understand but I'm generally wondering atp

How to get a spefic game working and to make it stay Working!

Hello so I recently switched to cachyos (used to be on popos decided to make the switch because comsic still isn't ready like at all) and so most if not all my games and software (haven't tried all my library but I figure it would work fine) work fine and run perfectly but call of duty black ops 3 worked for like the first few days then after I do a weekly update it breaks and all that happens is it'll load the logos up and then after Activision loads the weird ear-whoop noise keeps going while the whole screen goes black then the game just stays slient and refuses to launch I've fixed it nearly 3 times and it just is becoming a hassle and I'm willing to part with the game but I play it with a friend and would rather figure out the fix more than anything so if y'all have any fixes I'd greatly appreciate especially ones that fix it permanently also yes I had it set to proton-cachy as well so idk atp anyway hope y'all can help me figure it out.

Will cosmic be ready by the time 22.04 no longer is supported

So I recently switched to pop_os and I didn't know 24.04 had a ton of issues with the cosmic desktop but for me pop_os has been the best linux os I've used and tinkered with (be thinking about tinkering with some more on an older laptop but I digress) so I switched back to 22.04 now I know this will unfortunately be temporary but I was wondering if any of you guys truly believe cosmic will be ready by the time support for 22.04 ends also attached is a video that shows the problem I was having incase there's any fixes I could do (also I'm on a rog zephyrus g14 from 2021 with a rtx 3060 laptop gpu and a ryzen 9 5000 series)
