Hi! I am meeting my family members next year in Ecuador. This will be my first time meeting them and I want to make a good impression. What are some things you would like to receive from the United States? I am going to bring some candy for my young cousins but I am not sure what my uncles and aunts would like. I was gonna write a whole essay on the context of the title but that’s a lot of words and it’s too hot out. Basically I wanna ask:
HOW DO I STOP THINKING ABOUT WHAT MY EX BEST FRIEND IS UP TO AND WONDERING WHY SHE RANDOMLY CUT TIES WITH ME AND CONTEMPLATING IF I SHOULD REACH OUT??
SHE CLEARLY DOES NOT WANT US TO BE FRIENDS WHICH I DONT KNOW WHY BUT ALLISTIC PEOPLE CANNOT COMMUNICATE SO WHATEVER!! BUT HOW DO I STOP THE THOUGHTS!! ITS DISABILITY PRIDE MONTH AND A ALLISTIC PERSON IS LIVING (metaphorically) IN MY HEAD RENT FREE!!!!

>get social work job despite degree in technical writing
>get scabies and roaches from job + an actual death threat
>quit job because you are in such a state of burnout that you almost check yourself into a hospital
>move a state away back home to parents to a rural small town that they themselves just moved to and all your old childhood friends are an hour away in a big city
>try to find job back in the previous state you lived in to move closer to college friends and a big city
>AI deletes a shit ton of technical writing jobs because everyone wants to make love with their stupid polluting data centers and have sex with a chatbot instead of just roleplaying in RuneScape like god intended
>no jobs hiring
>get rejected before even getting an interview and ghosted
>allistics say use LinkedIn and they love LinkedIn and they need to tell you how at their daughters softball game they learned about B2B marketing
>allistics say using half the day to make art isn’t going to help you get a job and you need to get stupid certificates even if you have a solid resume as is
>allistics say apply to fast food and retail jobs and then when you tell them you have hEDS and standing for a long time hurts and also working with the general public will probably cause you to have to be hospitalized they say you are being dramatic
>allistics say get call center job but you have a speech impediment that no one over the phone understands and those jobs are also not hiring
>allistics say you need to spend all your time networking (which you try but you somehow can’t do networking “right”) and also doing special projects and one trillion other things that you can then share on LinkedIn and say a bunch of bullshit about how you love AI and love capitalism and working yourself to death and love office politics and it’s so fun when you get to hear about “streamlining” or something
