I’m after some instrumental metal songs/artists please. Im after more like traditional instrumentals that are a bit more straight forward then the full on proggy a million things going on at once.
A long the lines of:
Metallica - Orion/Kthulu,
Dream Theater - Hell’s Kitchen/stream of consciousness
Ghost - Miasma/Genesis
Trivium - The Crusade
Death - Voice of the soul
Cheers.
I’m crap at freerun and can only get to level 5 or 6 before time runs out so what’s the easiest non MP weekly challenge this week for someone that only ever plays MP so I can tick the week 5 box.
As the title suggests I’m after suggestions for bands that sound like a heavier Maiden. Musically I like Maiden, love the melodies, the solos, the riffs and the dueling guitars but the heaviness/production side of things stops me loving them. Like I’d love to put a filter over them that makes their guitars that little bit bigger/crunchier/heavier and the same with the drums. Same goes for the vocals I would love to apply that filter to them as well and have a deeper vocalist, I don’t want growling/screaming although I won’t mind that if it’s like 75% clean/aggressive singing and 25% growl/screams but overall I’d love to find a band with everything above and someone not as high as Bruce.
I found the band Tailgunner yesterday as a result of this sub and really liked them so hoping for some more winners.
