I feel so stupid thinking phlebotomy would fix my problems.

I just recently got my first phleb job at a hospital, its paying more than any other place around here. However the amount of work I'm doing is 3 peoples jobs. I got in to phlebotomy thinking it would give me a pay raise and stability but I'm still not making enough to live and I'm so stressed all the time on top of having a disability. I feel like I'm so stupid thinking this would solve everything. I dread going into work every day, but i need the money. I'm feeling hopeless.

Could Santa Cruz be solar punk?

Dreams of a dreamer here.

I'm just being optimistic.

I feel like Santa cruz is the perfect place to make a solarpunk city. We are building alot currently, what if each new building had to incorporate nature and solar?

We have lots of unused space that could become a place for people to gather, to be a community.

Take the huge parking lot for the safeway on 41st. What if we had a parking garage(incorporating nature) and the buildings that have safeway bestbuy ect had a single story of apartments above. We could then turn the parking lot into a community space/park with a walkable area for people who live above these places or for people to come. We could do the same with the Capitola mall and all the other places that have Unnecessary large parking lots, Not only would we improve the quality of life by making it more walkable but we would also be adding green spaces.

We also have the opportunity for amazing public transportation! Trains, buses, and maybe if we actually put REAL infrastructure into making biking more safe we could have a very moveable city.

There are so many ways I could go on and on.

I think if we focus on making our local community come together and have a great quality of life a lot of people will not only find hope in the community, but will also look at the world with a more optimistic vision.

Sorry about the ramble. I just think its nice to share an optimistic vision when many young people are not thinking that way currently.

Edit: I see quite afew people who are thinking the way I am. How can I get more involved? I want to take action and not just dream:)

I have been going to the gym for a while and recently my boyfriend suggested I start taking creatine for my muscles, I was doing it on an off for a while when I suddenly realized I was not having bad cramps anymore (also have pcos) So I started only taking it after ovulation to get ready for my period. I then noticed that I was having more energy and positive attitude. Still moody but not anything like I have been.

Then on top of that I had been microdosing for a while and found that that was helpful but not as much as I hoped so I took a leap and the day after ovulation I did a true dose. I now have been doing this for a while and It works amazing.

Its been a 1.5 years and I am so proud of where I'm at.

Now I find out that there are emerging studies on both creatine and pmdd and psilocybin and pmdd
