Image 1 — Managed to buy 80mm cnc rims with bad clear coating for 10k, restored and put new coating and customized the decals to my liking since it looked bland the “authentic” way, I wanted it to really stand out like high end carbon rims do. Did I do a great job?

Update on the rims and build (thank you to the solid ones that commented and tried helping out)

I finally managed to save it by adding more clear coat and sanding down impurities.

This was my dream build which I never thought would become possible, but due to luck i managed to climb my way up my components.

Hello, I am trying to see if there’s something I could do with carbon rims that I bought from somebody. They tried clear coating it and it didn’t work well, the clear coat got sticky and has alot of fingerprint marks on it because of that. I’m trying to see if there’s anything I could do thank you

I’m new to reddit as I came here for last resorts and don’t know how to put it in the questions thread please don’t remove the post
