So what happened is we went outside and event me and another person (not friend but a known) so I didn't carry my phone charger and was using his for the taking but while returning I accidentally left it at a hotel since I was last charging.after that when we came back few days past and he took my charger as he said he needed it since his roomate left and now there is no way to charge his phone ,and took my charger while I was in the room.after few days I told him that I would pay for your charger and asked for my charger back he refused said but a new charger for yourself,later I even told to get him a new charger myself he still refused .so few months past .now I am leaving this hostel for sem break so needed a charger so I took my charger from his room without telling him and when he asked me about it I denied taking it .when he saw charger in my room I defended by saying I bought a new one atlast we had a fight he called me a theif in from of everyone (I am a student representative so reputation matters to me)now he's and then our friends were involved and concluded that I would pay him and he would give back the charger so we did.now he is spreading news about how I stole the charger from his room .what should I do pls tell me 😭😭
