Does ADEA have a physical mailing address?

Hey, I’m trying to send my transcript from a Canadian university to Adea. Apparently due to tariffs I can’t send it by US Express post, but I can send it though Fed-Ex. They just can’t deliver to a PO Box.

I can also maybe send it through regular mail, but that could take up to four weeks.

Where is the office of the registrar?

I need to go talk in person to them about requesting some transcripts and I noticed the administrative building is completely closed for construction so how do I get a hold of these guys?

How to put down a club that I started on ADEA AADSAA

Hey, so I started a club about dementia awareness. I found in the club and hired all the other members, but I also hired a second president because that’s the requirement from my university.

We ran a few events like organizing a walk-through for dementia, fundraising $500 for the Alzheimer’s Association of Canada, as well as distributing informational pamphlets at the university.

Since I founded the club, who would I put as my supervisor? Some people have told me I can put the other copresident, but doesn’t that take away from me founding the club?

I did make a Club email btw.

Also, should I check the box that asked if they can contact the organization?

The reason I’m wondering yet is Club applications open at my university in June, but I want to submit before that and we’ve been operating for a few months so we have an Instagram account. We ran a few events so we are like a student body organization, so it’s not like I can get someone at my university to verify as well.

Let me know your thoughts, thanks.

PS, I’ve also done a few sports as well that I want to put as extracurriculars. One of them is a water sport, which I can put down my coach at the association.

The other is that I played piano for like 13 years. Should I place it down as nativity as well or should this only go in the manual dexterity part of my application?

Also is piano enough for the manual exterior or should I list like other things I do as well.

Thanks

Question about admission and schools for my friend

Hey guys, I have a question for a friend. I know this might be a bit stupid but I’m actually a predental student and I don’t really understand how any of the Premed stuff works compared to dental.

So my friend lives in Canada and he’s applying to US schools.

He wrote his MCAT last year and he got a He got a 509 (130 bio/bioch, 129 CH/PHS, 128 Psych/soc, 122 CARS)

His GPA is 3.87 Bsc Neuroscience

He is rewriting his MCAT on June 27

From what I know about his extracurriculars,

He’s worked in a research lab for two years, working his way up and he’s taking a few research classes. He probably has 200 hrs there.

He started Club and he’s co-president of it. He also has another position in a different club.

He worked for two years at FedEx and then two years at McDonald’s

He spent one year seven months working at a home care centre where he regularly visits a patient with dementia once a week

He’s also volunteered at the hospital in the emergency department for a year and a half.

Basically, from what I know cause I’m also applying dental school, applying early is the Strat. I have almost everything ready and I wrote my DAT and I’m ready to apply the day applications open.

Should my friend apply early with all the stuff he has right now I’m just indicate that he’s retaking his mcat or should he wait till he gets his new score

Also, any recommendations on schools?

Thanks guys

Question about prerequisite course GPA requirements on ADEA AADSAS

Hey, so I’m a first time applicant and I’ve been noticing when I added some schools like UConn, Rutgers, etc,
They have like a 3.0 requirement in all of their pre-rec courses that is not listed on their website anywhere

I got a 2.7 in my organic chem I class and my university does not allow institutional repeats if I pass the class.

Does this mean I just cannot apply to like any of these schools then?

This really sucks cause I got like A’s in almost everything else

Why do some schools have written response questions in the general ADEA AADSAS application?

Hey I’m first time applicant and I just wondering why some schools like Boston, UoP, USC and Minnesota have like written questions in our general application we submit.

Do they not have secondaries, or do they only give secondaries to theirs whose answers they like?

I’m just wondering.

How does inputting transcripts work and planned classes work?

I know applications open on may 12, so I’m wondering how inputting your transcripts work?

My official transcript doesn’t have any of my planned classes for 4th year.

Do I also input my planned classes?

Finally when do I send my transcript to universities?

Do I send it on may 12 or June 2nd when I submit?

I’m also taking a spring class right now so how does that work?

Hey, so I’m a student from Canada.

In my first year, I took nine classes or 27 credits

And my second and third years I did 30 credits a year or 10 classes

Then each spring semester I did one class

So now in my fourth year, I only have to do eight classes or 24 credits. I’m wondering if it’s worth applying for a course overload to take 10 classes.

My GPA was a bit lower in my first year. I’m wondering if schools will think I can’t handle the load but I did 30 credits for two years in a row.

Please let me know if you have any insights
