PR Chances Help

Hi everyone,

I’m in my early 20s, recently graduated in Ontario with a 3-year advanced diploma in IT, and currently work full-time in IT making $80k+. I’ve been working for over 6 months, I’m approaching 1 year of Canadian work experience, and I have roughly 2 years left on my PGWP.

I’m interested in OINP, but I’m not sure how to approach my employer about it. Should I speak with my manager or HR first? What exactly should I ask them, and how much involvement or paperwork would be required from the employer?

I’m also wondering whether I should start pursuing OINP now or wait until I have 1 year of Canadian experience and become eligible for CEC/Express Entry.

For anyone who went through OINP with their employer, how did you approach the conversation and what was the process like?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Is our basement infested with cockroaches (Ontario)

My boyfriend and I moved into a basement apartment about two months ago. About a week ago, we left a bag of potatoes out and noticed a few tiny bugs that looked like baby cockroaches. We immediately threw the potatoes away (double-bagged them) and thought that would solve the problem. Since then, though, we've been seeing one small bug that looks like a cockroach somewhere in the apartment almost every day. I found another one this morning in the bathroom sink, and that's the only photo I have.

Can anyone tell me if this is actually a cockroach? If it is, does seeing one every day usually mean there's an infestation, or could they just be random stragglers? We're also unsure whether we should contact our landlord right away or wait until we're more certain. We just got settled into this place, so we're pretty stressed and would really appreciate any advice.
