Want this guy to be our captain next year if possible

Hear me Out

I don't understand why this guy is not hyped that much . In 2024 Makram had a 550 or 600+ season in lsg as an opener but as we know lsg in order to accomodate pant top the order they shifted everyone's batting position and this guy has to play at no. 5 position where this guy can't do shit . And even after lsg batting order failing most of the times he still wasn't given a chance top of the order and now lately if u look at the lsg team they have found their stability ( what it looks like ) with batting openers of Mitch and inglis . So most probably this guy is not going to open and most probably gonna get release next year in the mini auction .

Now let's look at Kkr . We know how Bahane has performed this season in terms of batting dude atleast till last year used to trash the fast bowlers in powerplay and then used to do tuktuk after 6 overs when spinners came in but this year my goodness dude is just hanging in the team without any shame and performance so everyone would agree bahane has to be released next year there is no chance this guy is gonna stay and this is where I feel Makram can easily fit in and these are the reasons

1- Proper opener and can switch his gears when ever needed can take on the fast bowlers and can play spin reasonably well a proper partner which fin Allen will get

2 - Captaincy - Has been in the Ipl set up for the long time aware of the team dynamics also his current age is 32 considering he is passionate about cricket he can give Minimum next 5 years to this franchise easily and has also captained his national side in the t20's .

Now a lot of people might say as a foreigner how can this guy fit in again it is simple just take Powell out and yes this is not a shocker I mean it . Powell definitely has been excellent on the field but batting ? Not a single good performance there we cannot play a person in the team just because his fielding is good if we want we can sub one of our poor fielders out for Powell in fielding but for batting Makram can make much more impact top of the order where we are lacking due to Rahane .

Well this team still has flaws which no body is talking about

Not a hater but just telling to keep ur expectations in check In all the 4 matches we won except the lsg match we have bowled first if you notice the pattern in the Rr , Srh and Dc match our bowlers bowling pretty well restricting the team between 140-160 and then our batters somehow pulling of the job . But here comes the point the batting unit of kkr still has flaws except allen , green and Rinku most of the guys are still struggling or not getting runs . Even in the lsg match it was rinku who took the score to 155 otherwise it was a match destined to lose . so I really hope in the remaining matches kkr wins the toss and choose to Bowl first otherwise I still feel with our batting line up if we bat first our weakness will be again exposed what do u guys think ?

And as a fan i seriously hope this team proves me wrong m...

Used to think in my school days that after I get a good job I will propose her i know it is childish and that will never again but genuinely I will be joining a t2 b school in June when I graduate I will be 27 life after that will be gone in paying educational loans for next 6-7 years after finishing all of this I will be almost 30 + ......
