Why translate scientific terms in Urdu?
Why should we have the terms in Urdu when it is already in English?
First of I am in full support of having scientific and technical terms discussed in pure Urdu. I am questioning out of curiosity and what is the gain here. I feel I do not know the core essence of mother tongue.
I looked up biology ( حاتیات ) and trigonometry ( مثلثیات ). This lead me know that there is Urdu Science Board (USB) with aim of translating them. I have done my homework. And this question still remains.
Sorry I had to write this in English. My Urdu typing is still under practice and I do not want to risk into misunderstanding. Thanks.
