Knife and flashlight people, do you actually use them daily?

I love craftsmanship and the idea of carrying around useful objects, but I’m just trying to be honest with myself about how often I would actually use a knife or flashlight in my daily life. I don’t take public transport and I drive a car so I do keep a knife and flashlight in my vehicle. But am I missing something? Are there use cases I’m not thinking of?

How do busy people make time for drawing consistently?

I’m looking for advice!

Ive picked up pen and ink this past year and it’s become my favorite hobby.

Currently I have a 15-week-old son, work full-time, and I’m also in school. Before becoming a parent I could draw daily and started to see real improvement. I loved coming home from work to have a project waiting for me on my desk to work on. However, now time is tight and I genuinely miss it.

  • How did you realistically make time?
  • Did you lower expectations?
  • Did you switch mediums or workflows?
  • Any small habits, setup changes, or “life hacks” that helped?
  • Should I just accept the way things are and put this hobby on pause furing this phase?

Would really appreciate any advice!
