Like the title says, i like tipping waitresses or bartenders especially if they give our table a good service/ attention. Last night the bill came out to like $280 including their self tip, then i gave an extra $70, mind you we was at the bar , the chick is cool we know her already.

I do it because it comes out from my heart i like seeing ppl smile when you tipping them good for their hard work. I don’t do it for something in return, i tip both male and female bartenders / waiters good when i can.

If you don’t like doing thats up to you, but the come at me telling me im tipping too much just because they self tip themselves and then i give en extra tip. We are two different person he doesn’t like tipping, and i do, how can i tell him to don’t worry about it and to mind his business in a respectful way?

So like the title says. I am studying online for sterile process technician, but the thing is the school im studying with don’t place you in a hospital for internships, I’ve called several hospitals In Newark, Rahway, Elizabeth, and they all have associated school already , so its hard to do it with them. I also called a local surgical place near me and left my contact and information with the secretary that said she will give it to the manager of the spd but i never got a call back this was like two weeks ago. What else can i do?? Im really trying to get into this career change. The base pay around here is like $24-$25 , but im trying to do Overnight tbh so i might a start at $26-$28. But it seems so difficult to land a internship if the school or program you are attending doesn’t place you in one, Please give me some ideas to land a internship if you can! Hello i applied for a part time stocking position at harbor freight tools, a manager or recruiter called on Saturday and interviewed me on the phone then told me to come in Thursday for a second interview, and after the second interview theres a third one, she told me to come in with a dress shirt and slacks? Wtf? Also the hours are only like 14 hrs week $19hr , why the hell they want threee interview for? Acting like thats a crazy high paying job, i respect each jobs regardless of the title but dam why so much work and work around, is that normal for a part time stocker role at Harbor freight?? I dont mind going in with a polo shirt and pants, but ill be mad if i dont even get the job and they got me running around doing all these interviews and all that. Please let me know and correct if im wrong, im open for it! Thanks!

I live in the north NJ area, and been looking into SPT because i know they dont really interact with patients and costumers like that. Also i would like to work overnight if i ever do the course and get hired.
My question is is worth paying for it? Ive been looking into preppy online but the course is almosf $2K, with payment plans of $350 monthly, in my opinion the job sounds worth it but the course sound kinda expensive idk, only good thing about pretty is that they supposedly help with intership to get those 400 hrs, ive been thinking of self study but worry i wont get hired to complete those 400 hrs. I know a buddy of mines who did it and started working overnight and he went in making $27hr overnight not that bad toh, but Guys please let me know! Thank you

So usually My cousin and my brother and myself go out to like bars/restaurants/lounges or anything basically, i always feel like my cousin always throwing shades at me and my brother. If we want to buy our self some drinks he is always complaining, if we want to tip the bartender or waitress a fair tip he is always complaining and not only that he throws back handed compliments saying “ all the rico suaves” if we want to buy lets a bottle that is maybe $50 dollar extra he says we are doing it to show off, when in reality we buy because we like that bottle or because its our money and we do w.e want with it.

Not too long ago he brought some dudes to party with us, i parked my car a like 5min away walking distance from the bar since the avenue was packed so his friends gave me a ride and i told his friends to leave me 2 blocks away that i would walk and my cousin said “oh he has an image “ but his friends didn’t pay mind to it, he was basically saying that i wasn’t trying to let them see what car i drive, when i reality i said it because i wanted to walk and i also don’t know them so i wanted to privacy with my personal things too.

The other night my cousin asked me if i wanted to go to the bar, i said i cant cus i was short in money and had pay some bills and he said “ just come and don’t drink” . I felt like that was disrespectful af , especially since me and my brother have paid expensive tabs for his ass, not saying he needs to pay for my drinks but to tell me to go and don’t drink when thats the whole point of the bar. Ive also caught him looking at me couple of time and when i catch him looking he acts like he being chill about it and laugh, but its a weird look. Its gotten to a point where i have withdrawn myself and barely reply back in the group chats , my brother also feel the same. He knows we are no soft guys but i have noticed that when you treat ppl good a lot of time they take advantage of it and dont appreciate it. Im at a point where ima check his ass and press him. But im also looking for advice to see what you guys tell me please, thanks!

I just wanted to ask lets say day shift is $23-$24hr for an Certified SPT in NJ, if i choose to work overnight will i get a 10%-12% differential pay? Lets say instead of $23-$24 , would i be making $26-27? I dont mind working overnight tbh, i am single, dont have too much responsibilities and tbh i like my peace and quiet moments and just do my work and leave. I work overnight right now at a warehouse for $18hr. So i dont mind. Please let know i would appreciate it.
