Orgo I online lecture vs in person

For anyone who took orgo in the spring, which section would you recommend?

I've heard the online section had online quizzes instead of iclicker, which honestly seems like a downside. I also heard Dr Chiba goes through more examples and explains things better in the in person lectures, but I'm not sure if that's actually true for the online ones.

The only thing holding me back is that the in person lec are 8:30 Like, what better way to start your day than orgo at 8:30? 😭

Will Test Anxiety Accommodations Affect CAF Application?

I'm in university right now and want to join CAF after I graduate. I get pretty stressed during tests and exams, and I'm thinking about getting accommodations like extra time or a quieter room because of anxiety.

The anxiety is purely academic and only comes up around exams and tests. I've have never taken any medication for this.

Would getting these accommodations be considered a mental health issue for CAF or be looked down on during the application process?

BDC courses

I’m an incoming bdc student and I honestly couldn’t find much info about the bdc courses themselves. I’ve heard from few ppl that the workload is really manageable and everyone get 12 in bdc courses. The only courses people seem to complain about are orgo and some of the business courses.

Is that actually true? I’m mainly worried about the bdc lab course and drug discovery

Hey, I’m thinking of dropping a course now and taking it in fall. Does anyone know if I’ll lose access to Echo360 recordings, or is it just A2L that gets cut off? I still want to watch the lectures.

I’m going into 3rd year in the faculty of health sci program (not hons health sci), and I’m thinking of taking some health sci electives.

How hard is it to get into these courses? Are they mostly reserved for hons health sci students first, or do non hons students still have a fair chance to enroll?
