Had a customer this morning and I'm not kidding but I wish I was, give me a $100 bill and asked me to give her 100 $20 bills. Not $100 in $20s, literally 100 $20s. After I said I can't do 100 $20s, she gave me a $5 bill. Idk how to explain this without making it confusing. To clarify, her total was $4.20.
My friends and I were trying to play together but they both kept getting disconnected every 5-10 minutes so we decided to get on Helldivers 2. The entire update is broken pretty much completely on every part of the game now
While I'm still excited for the update and there's some good stuff being added, there's also some flaws. To clarify, I'm on console but not like that matters as the update isn't out yet
(Before I get into it, I'm leaving out the prestige change in my positives and negatives as I only prestiged to get closer to 100%ing the game and only have the apoc challenges left.)
Starting with the good stuff. The new character customization is good and definitely a welcome edition, the death animation is good. The new way you pull out the journal is a welcome change as it doesn't take up a big portion of the screen like as it does currently, making it easier to see. The watch is a good addition because it makes it easier to test for Spirit on no evidence for example as it makes incense timing more manageable in game. The badges now being where the customization is, is definitely a good edition and makes it so that it's not all over the place (what I mean is having a customization option being in a separate location than another one, such as on the wall for the badge, and the character customization on the screen).
And now talking about the flaws. The fov changes definitely aren't that good especially on higher fov (I play max fov), and it makes looking in the video camera even harder (borderline impossible holding a tripod), the fact that the devices have a forced animation at least it looks like it, that makes said device not be instantaneous, is not really good. Imagine dying because you're forced into a salt animation during a hunt (which some people do), and you can't pull out your incense. Now the elephant in the room, the animations themselves. The animations look....clunky and not that good. The animations should've been introduced later on especially since they're so clunky. I'm sure the animations will get better, but as of now, they're not that good.
While I am still excited for the update, it definitely has issues. I did defend the tanglewood rework before it came out, but that did end up being a pretty solid rework all things considered. They did stay true to the original and didn't change up the layout much, but this update definitely has some issues.
