First crash at 90mph.

Looking for feedback and what I could have done differently.

My opinion: I’m on the left in black and I was on the race line. The rider on the right was faster but he came onto my line suddenly and slowed down for some reason, our tires touched and I went down. The poor guy behind me in white grabbed alot of front brake and went over his handlebars.

Open to any criticism and advice. Thanks.

Trackday maintenance on stock bike.

Hey. I have a stock 2017 Yamaha XSR 900 with about 6k miles. I almost exclusively do track riding on it now. On average 1 per month this year. My question is should I be doing more maintenance than the regular manufacture recommended since I’m using it for Trackdays?

Specifically I’m curious about oil changes, spark plugs, brake fluid, coolant flushes.

Gen 1 r6 built motor track bike.

I’ve done about a dozen track days so far. Thinking about selling my street bike and committing to a dedicated bike. This team that I’ve gotten to know a little bit from track days is selling a r6 that is fully built. I even rode it last Trackday and it felt great.

However, I have no frame of reference to compare it to since it’s my first one. They are asking $12k for it. Built motor, suspension and other goodies. Trying to decide if that is reasonable. Any advice would be appreciated.

Edit: sorry folks, I checked with the shop it’s not a Gen 1 it’s a 2015 model.

Anyone experience blisters on lower legs after Trackday?

I noticed them the morning after Trackday. It was really hot down here in Florida. The only thing I did different was new riding boots but they felt great and comfortable. I wear a VNM base layer and calf high socks over the base layer. I don’t know if it’s related to a hot Trackday or some other medical problem completely unrelated.

Battery issue?

This warning came on as I was driving home from work. It’s a 23 Rsq8 39k miles. My ac stopped working and the ride got very uncomfortable, could feel every bump on the road.

Is this just low battery issue or something more? Can I drive it to work tomorrow so I could drop it off at service? Thanks.

I noticed what appears to be the resonator damaged while doing an oil change. I also have had DTC P0430/P0420 which could be due to cats or sensors but I’ve had that code for over a year. What do you think?

Those shaving you see are not from the bolt itself but came from the oil pan. Without the washer the bolt tightens but with it it keeps spinning. Any ideas?

Mabye I’m going crazy but I could have sworn my lights stayed completely off when switched off. But now I can see the halo lights on even when switch in off position. Am I imagining things or has this happened to anyone else. 2001 m5 with 152k miles.
