Thinking about moving to Hoboken. Would appreciate feedback from similarly situated people.

My girlfriend and I are thinking of moving to Hoboken. She's a NJ native and I currently live in NY (outside NYC). This would be our first time living together.

She works in West New York and I work in lower Manhattan. She would have to drive to work each day and I would take the Ferry and/or NJT. We both work relatively long hours (anywhere from 50-70 a week) outside of commute time.

We want to be somewhere that's walkable and lively. We spent the weekend in Hoboken and it was beautiful but I don't know if I was swayed by the incredibly gorgeous weather or if the city was simply that charming. All of the parks were very nice and we had a lot of fun.

What are your experiences in living here? How has your experience been in either: a) driving to/from the Hoboken; and b) public transit into Manhattan.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to share your experience. I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Writing an opposition to a poorly written motion is so much worse than writing one in opposition to a well written one

Having to explain every single deficiency is so frustrating.
