Project Scope
Construct one 12’ x 12’ (144 SF) exterior deck finished with 1x6 Western Red Cedar decking.
Assumptions
Finished deck height: less than 30” above adjacent grade
Include one set of steps to grade
No guardrails
Level site
Normal soil conditions
Unobstructed access
Simple rectangular footprint
No demolition or removal of existing construction
Structure
Structural system is contractor’s choice. Size and space the framing, footings/supports, connections, and steps however you normally would while optimizing for cost.
