I have my PhD interview for IISc CSA department on 14 May. I will be reaching bangalore airport at about 3 pm on 13 May. Will I get a hostel stay ? I have filled the google form that asked for hostel accomodation but I filled after the deadline and form was open. So, not sure. Can anyone help on this?
I will give B Math exam next year at age 28 and I would prefer to get direct PhD after B Math due to financial constraints.
Background : Have done BTech CS, will complete MTech CS this year.
But I don't want to go for M math directly as I don't want to miss that building of fundamentals you get in B Math.
My question is what will it take to get direct PhD after B Math? Exceptional record in B Math courses or recommendation of professor or something else?
And Is it advisable to do PhD directy after B Math.
I really want to explore maths in depth, but would prefer to get direct PhD after B Math.
