I thought I was having suppressor issues. But suppressors are working fine on another platform. Now the question......my HK MP5/.22 is not suppressing. I switched the faux suppressor out with a Custom Smith Manufacturing hand guard. Which allowed me to attach a Sparrow suppressor. Ran great for thousands of rounds and then; Poof! It stopped suppressing.

What could be causing this? I've tried diff types of ammo, 980, 1070, 1235 FPS ammo. Cleaned the rifle. No luck. Still getting a very loud crack/bang.

I just got a new Resilient Jessie's girl .22 suppressor to run on my HK MP5 .22. I ran a mag through the suppressor and no issue. On my next mag it has stopped suppressing. I then shot Federal, 40 grain/1200 FPS and CCI 40 grain/1200 FPS. The Jessie's girl suppressor doesn't suppress. It's very loud. I then tried with subsonic ammo CCI, 32 grain, 950 FPS and the same issue. No suppressing. I also have a mini-Sparrow suppressor. I tried all the same ammo with the MP5/mini Sparrow and it ISN'T silencing either.

I've probably put 5k suppressed rounds through the MP5 (using the Sparrow) with no issue. Mostly with CCI, 1235 FPS ammo. It's been cleaned. It's been great until now.

I've talked to Silencer Shop, Resilient and they shrug their shoulders. Thoughts anyone?
