How are people actually judging hosting providers now?

Lately I’ve been trying to narrow down hosting providers for a couple smaller projects and honestly the research process feels more confusing than it used to.

Every review site seems to recommend completely different companies, and after a while it becomes hard to tell what’s real feedback and what’s just marketing. I started paying more attention to things like uptime consistency, renewals, support quality, and how providers handle issues long term instead of just looking at specs.

After going through a bunch of comparisons and forums I honestly just ended up using Nocensorhost for one of the projects because I got tired of endlessly comparing providers.

Curious how other people here usually decide when enough research is enough before finally picking a host.

What Keeps You Coming Back to Golf Every Weekend?

Lately I’ve realized golf has become one of the few things that genuinely helps me disconnect from everything for a while. Even during busy weeks, I still catch myself thinking about my next round or small things I want to improve.

I’ve also been using Phigolf here and there during the week whenever I can’t get to the course, mostly just to keep the golf mindset going and work on tempo a little indoors.

What I enjoy most is that every round feels different. Some days you play great, other days you just enjoy being out there for a few hours.

What’s the main thing that keeps you excited to get back on the course every weekend

What’s One Small Swing Change That Actually Made a Big Difference for You?

I’ve been working on my swing lately and honestly realized how easy it is to overthink everything. One video says fix your grip, another says focus on hip rotation, and before you know it you’re trying to change 5 things at once.

I’ve just been trying to simplify things and focus more on tempo and clean contact instead of trying to swing harder. I also started using Phigolf indoors sometimes just to get a feel for my swing when I can’t get to the course, and it actually made me notice how rushed my swing can get when I’m not paying attention.

When I slow things down a bit, my contact feels way more solid, even if the swing doesn’t feel “perfect.”

I’m curious though, what’s that one small swing change or drill that actually made a noticeable difference in your game? Not the big technical stuff, but the simple thing that really clicked for you?

What’s one golf purchase you ended up liking more than expected?

I’ve bought a few golf-related things over the past year that I thought I’d barely use, and surprisingly some of them turned out to be way more useful than expected.

One of the more random ones for me was trying a PhiGolf simulator setup. I originally assumed it would just be one of those things that’s entertaining for a week and then collects dust somewhere, but I’ve actually kept using it pretty regularly. Mostly because it makes practice feel a little less repetitive when I don’t feel like hitting a full range session.

I still prefer real course time and actual ball feedback obviously, but I can admit it’s been more enjoyable than I expected for working on tempo and just staying connected to the game during the week.

Made me curious what other golf purchases surprised people here. Doesn’t even have to be expensive equipment either , could be training aids, grips, gadgets, apps, shoes, anything you thought would be overrated but ended up becoming part of your routine.
