I'm in urgent need of help with my character designs. My biggest issue is a color scheme, I want the characters both to have synthesis between each other but also pop and stand out on their own. I've been at it for a few days now, taking short breaks then returning back to see if I can improve but I struggle with color theory.

I really want to improve so if anyone has advice on colors but also any general critiques of the characters themselves, I would really appreciate it. You can't hurt my feelings as long as I improve!
