I will shortly have to start working as an independent contractor, taking the company I did my curricular internship with as my client. Do I need PI insurance?

I have an Xbox series X where I used to fly mostly airliners on MSFS2020.
However, my bf told me that since 2024 came out, the overall scenery quality was downgraded due to now being streamed.
Another issue I have with MSFS2020 is the biblical loading times..
I have bought a MacBook M1 Pro MAX with 32Gb of RAM. I know that msfs doesn’t run on Apple silicon, so I am now looking into Xplane12.
Do you think that, for someone like me mostly cares about scenery and quality of the details in the planes/cockpit, is worth buying xplane?
I read everything that MSFS2024 is the gold standard for scenery, but does xplane12 get close to it with addons?
On November 2025 I was granted my bridging visa B. I left Australia from December until February 2026. Now I have to leave again for a couple of months, and I want to be absolutely certain that I won’t be locked out of the country!
My bridging visa B says:
Arrive by: 19 November 2026
Travel: Multiple entries
Bridging visa conditions: No conditions
From my own research it seems that these conditions are not that common! So given what’s at stake, I’d like to confirm with people who had the same conditions whether they had to request a new BVB each time or not!
It is a bit unclear to me how the subscription works. I have paid 5 dollars for the first month, and I am using the go subscription in the harness. However, I still see the price at the bottom of each conversation. Also in the usage section on the website, I can see how much is the price per API call.
So.. why is it keeping track of that, if I’m already paying the 5 dollars? I want to stress that my credit is 0, I am not using any API other than the one used for linking the go subscription.
