Just got the update for One UI 8.5. Any new changes I should think about. Is battery life going to be improved, is the phone going to be worse?

Moved from an S21U to an S24U. Difference is not night and day, but it us noticeable. Main reasons was because of back glass coming off and lack of security updates.
