What type of event actually balances things out for a moment? Taking into consideration the information era we live in how do you see it pan out?

I used to believe in protests and participated in them.

At the end of the day, I realised that to really protest you need to create a situation of leverage. In any situation you don't negotiate from a position of weakness, this is not a negotiation then.

To create a situation of leverage you need to disrupt something where you are the solution. You create a problem where you are the solution so they need to bargain with you. That being said the wakashio protests pointed out one big weakness a large portion of us have, we have debts. So protests are empty in meaning like a scarecrow, we are in a situation where causing disruption to attempt leverage is even more riskier to us. What have we got to lose VS what have they got to lose? At every large protests member berries mention the berenger 1979. We will strike so on and so forth. Such a situation is very unlikely to happen as one of the reason is debt. your home is not your's, you do not have a little farm at home either, and as one reddit user here pointed out, we are not desperate enough.

PKJ being at those protests was your chance to show something really really scary to politicians who screw up and you didn't do it. it was another stupid friendly fancy fair like wakashio. PKJ is a cog in the wheel of this situation. an out of touch elitist who was more worried about his sidequests and yet, you let the snake slither with you. no mud, no eggs and no tomatoes. you wanted to be peaceful fair enough, but this was your chance to actually create leverage, the leverage of humiliation. you strike where they are the weakest, their ego. He caused this situation and you have him walking with you.

to add insult to injury, this guy is bluffing, because the real problem is the lack of export, be it products or services, he had what 10 15 years to do something? he never did. My favourite guy padayachy as you might have guessed devalued our currency to invest in his friends who as you might expect did not deliver. in devaluating the currency you also reduced the salaries we were getting from abroad which in turn decreased our foreign revenue even further. remember 35 000 in 2020 is not the same 35 000 in 2026, while being marketed as such. To this date, financial services, GBC etc keep this illusion that 40k is great you should be happy. anyway that's a topic for another time. Remember, we run to the west as a solution to our problems, in the west they do not hesitate to lynch shitty politicians. 25 years ago, my college teacher (gen x) told us she wouldn't want to be us because of the demographic collapse, and here we are. Gen Z will have it even worst, and then some people blame them for 'not working'. how can you work when you can't have dreams of even the basic of things? what are you working for? 'no but they should work hard and in 10 years they will make it'. lies again, in 10 years whatever they managed to save is/will be worth jack shit because of rinse and repeat politicians again.

I left my family, my friends for reasons i don't want to talk about. it was traumatic. I was captured and sold abroad to the lowest bidder :,(. You think life is good here where groceries cost the same or less as on the island? Here i have to work in a bloody Mcdonald's to earn a measly 100k+ MUR minimum salary, PER MONTH!

Do you have any idea how hell it is here? we can't even afford housing in the city we live in while the 1st class middle income islanders are buying houses left and right in Mauritius, you should see how cheap it is. Lol my post is about the Shaan Kundomal affair going on. Its funny to see how habits die hard and the oligarchy is scrambling to release/give vvip treatment to someone who from my sources already had questionnable practices. In Mauritius that would be easy AF. I saw it first hand from another member of the club who eventually died of his own excesses. Bro was drunk driving and ignored a sumon by the police to stop at a checkpoint. Said he would get the fine removed, yep just like that. Eventually and unfortunately (he was still an okay guy) he did perish out of his excesses, in an accident. This just shows how it is systematic from these families to not take responsibility.

So bro here got arrested after being reported for misplacement of funds. Once at the airport he attempted to use his indian passport with a different name on. Note that we do not have dual citizenship agreement with India. Since then contacts and ex diplomats have been hard at work trying to release him or give him vvip detention conditions. Many of us try to control outcomes of a relationship. But the thing is, if someone intends to cheat on you they will find a way to do it, despite your best efforts. So all you would have got is having made your own life hell trying to cage and control a person and their actions. Truth is you will never be able to control such a thing and you will fall into a downward spiral of anxiety of control over control, over control; a bottomless pit of hell for both partners.

if your partner is a cheater, you have better chances of catching them with actual evidence rather than arguing over suspicion which is a battle you will not win. They will be negligent due to complacency based on you being confident and chill.

Although in the moment it might seem you will never have someone like that person, and the amount of effort you have invested, chances are you will still find someone else anyway. So relax enjoy the moment. If the person is a pig so be it let them go, treat them like trash though. Make sure the humiliation reaches the soul of that person 😃

The tank is a sexy ass breakthrough vehicle. Right now its getting broken through. If tanks get more armor or more composite obstacles inside its armor as a whole, its poised to get bigger. Once it requires a higher pay load to penetrate one, the drones will have to be bigger to carry and in turn they will be more easily detected to be shot down what do you guys think?

You can use an EW vehicle to accompany a tank squad but once that EW is saturated and hit, the rest will crumble down very easily. Plus there is almost no point in being discrete and low profile with surveillance drones every where now.
