Hi! me and my friends are planning to go to athens this summer in the middle of july to be exact... we are currently searching for a nice accomodation to stay at... we want to be as close as it gets to the beach (max 1.5km)... which are should we go to? when i was researching i loved Glyfada, its near a nice beaches, nice architecture, everything is close, BUT i heard that it's so expensive, is it true? everyone says something else. help me find the right area for me

So, me and my friends are planning a summer trip around mid-July for about 6 nights, and nightlife is definitely one of our top priorities — you know how it goes 😄 We’re looking for a destination where there’s a good mix of beaches during the day and a lively atmosphere at night, with bars, clubs, beach parties, and generally a place where there’s always something happening.

At the moment, we’re mainly deciding between:

• Bulgaria – Varna or Burgas (possibly Sunny Beach as well)
• Montenegro – Budva

But we’re totally open to other suggestions if there are places you think would suit us better. Since we’ll be staying around 6 nights, we want somewhere that won’t get boring after 2–3 days and where the nightlife is actually worth it throughout the trip.

We’re mostly looking for:

• great nightlife / party scene,
• nice beaches and good summer atmosphere,
• a younger crowd and social vibe,
• decent prices (doesn’t have to be super cheap, but not Ibiza-level expensive either),
• enough things to do during the day as well.

We also need to book ASAP since July is getting closer, so we’re trying to make a decision pretty quickly. Would really appreciate any recommendations, comparisons, or personal experiences!
