I bought these used K&N short ram intakes off of Facebook. After a bit of cleaning and touch ups I noticed it’s missing one of the fitting for the bottom part. The guy I bought them off of told me that he had made his own fitting for one side. I tried to copy it for the other but couldn’t find the same brass hose fitting. Wondering if any has had to use different fittings than what is given and any tips for what to do
Also reason I bought them: guy had them for 150 but I paid 80 cash. One of my boots was ripped and needed smth for it
Update: I plan on getting new filters for it eventually as these are not in great shape

G37 was the first as a daily - paid for half of it at 15. Was granny owned before me
E46 was a my first project car - love the looks and driving experience of it. Payed for myself
2008 328i coupe - traded the e46 for it as I started to get into the E9X chassis
2008 335i sedan - wanted more power and a bigger project

Still have the G37 and 335i!

Trying to get a lower tone without all the rasp. I’m running a bolt on axleback with 4 inch tips(basically fancy muffler delete)with everything else stock
