Lack of power

2013 G37 coupe automatic. When I floor the gas pedal, nothing happens. Car slowly excellerates. Engine sounds fine at idle and not throwing a code. Transmission seems to be shifting OK. Could it be a clogged fuel filter? Could use some ideas. Thanks!

Wheel Offset V1 nismo

Hello guys, I’m currently in the process of buying some rep V1 Nismo wheels for my Infiniti G37S 6MT coupe and I need help deciding final offsets.
Current specs:
Front: 19x9.5
Rear: 19x10.5
Tires:
245/35/19 front
275/35/19 rear
Suspension:
BC Racing coil-overs
Tires:
Toyo Extensa Hp ll
Goal:
I want it right on the edge of poke without actually poking or rubbing badly. I don’t mind dialing in ride height/camber a little.
I’m currently deciding between:

+22 front / +20 rear
or

+23 front / +22 rear

Or let me know if you have other suggestions

Awd coilovers axle upgrade

I’m on coilovers not crazy low maybe dropped about 2 inches from stock ride height and 19” wheels from the stock 18”, 3 degrees camber. Is it worth trying axle spacer first or just spend a bit more money and time installing the 03/13 axles?

Q50 Steering wheel rub fix

Not sure if anyone else is still dealing with the issue with the steering wheel rubbing up against the column, After doing the Q50 wheel swap. But I ended up adding a washer on the shaft before the wheel going on and rubbing is completely gone. Wheel Swap successful👍

Are the gallery gaskets an inevitable problem?

With proper maintenance and oil changes, can you prevent the gallery gasket problem or is it inevitable?

What could the issue be?

Changed battery. Changed crank sensor. Swapped out spark plugs. My boy says the car isn’t getting any spark. And i swapped the ipdm (codes down below)

How much

How much would yall pay for this 08 g37 with 146k miles? Runs great and a ton of mods, body has some scrapes in the front right bumper but otherwise clean. Interior is clean minus one tear in the seat and a couple dash cracks. List of mods in one of the pics. This is CA and also comes with some z1 coil packs that you can’t get in ca anymore, uninstalled.

2010 Infiniti G37X Coupe — VR30 7AT Swap TCM Issue | Need Help

Hey everyone,

I have a 2010 Infiniti G37X AWD Coupe that just had a full VR30 7AT transmission swap done using the Z1 Motorsports G37X VR30 swap kit and JOL flexplate. The reason for the swap was that my original VQ37 transmission had an internal cooler failure that caused ATF to mix with coolant, contaminating the valve body and TCM. Rather than risk reusing contaminated parts I opted to run the VR30 valve body and TCM as is from the donor 2019 Q50.

The issue:

• Hard aggressive shifting in 1st and 2nd gear, smoother after that it seems okay but not shifting at 2500-3500 rpm

• Manual mode not functioning at all

• Car also had a dead/dying battery which was throwing CAN communication codes those were cleared and haven’t come back after driving it 5-6 times

What the shop told me:

The mechanical swap is solid. They’re pointing me toward tuners saying it’s likely a TCM/electronic issue not mechanical.

What tuners have told me so far:

• One tuner said the VR30 TCM can’t operate properly on a 2010 G37 and that full functionality including manual mode only works on 2013+ G37s recommending I source a clean VQ37 TCM

• Another tuner said they’ve done this swap many times and shifting should be normal currently waiting on their full diagnosis after sending them the codes

• Third tuner said they can tune the aggressive shifting but cannot fix manual mode through tuning alone

Attaching the scan results from the shop.

Has anyone run into this doing a VR30 swap on a 2010 G37X coupe? Is the VQ37 TCM the move? Can it then be tuned to work properly with the VR30 setup? Any help is appreciated.

2009 with rca and iPod connection

So I have the 09 model with the old iPod connection and rca instead of the usb port, my question is has anyone used any of these cables they sell online and how have they worked. I usually just use the rca’s but it would be nice to be able to have the song info plus steering wheel functions for the music

Trading my Auto G37x for a 6MT G35 with 60K Mileage

You think this is a good trade? Been looking around for a clean unbeat G and I did come across a 2007 350Z touring 6MT…unfortunately someone else bought it fast. Now came across a 2007 G35 6MT with 60k 1 owner, clean title, interior is close to mint. Want to learn manual & possibly keep the G stock with the 19 ray wheels. What you guys think?

P0300 hell

update i posted about my p0300 problems a couple days ago i finally gave in and took it to a shop because it seemed like a fuel issue and i didn’t have tools to diagnose any further (they charged me 250 for the diag💀💀🙏🏾🙏🏾) but thankfully the found the issue which was a leaky injector on bank 2 which is what i suspected but i hate parts cannoning so i had to confirm before i bought any parts BUT what i was wondering is what injectors ppl typically go with if not oem because they are 160 a pop so actually fuck that😭 i plan to diy it because the shop is one of the only legit shops for miles so the just price gouge everyone in town knows it but what can we do🤷🏾‍♂️(probably upwards of 2000 for an injector job) so i was just wondering what route others were going for injectors

My new G37 caught a foul ball! 💥⚾️

Backstory and a question for you below…

My brother cared for 2013 G37 coupe like a child. He cut me a deal on it and my parents offered to deliver it to me several hours away. But first, they stopped by my nephew’s baseball game! What could go wrong?

I’ll say it could’ve been worse, but there are lots of scenarios where it could’ve been better. 😅

I went to have the windshield replaced and the tech called me outside with a concern. He said the panel of trim that runs along the side of the windshield across the top of the windows usually breaks when removed from older models. They are wide and narrow and can get brittle with age (though my car has mostly been kept in a garage). I’ll post a picture of the piece in question in the comments.

The tech wasn’t confident that he could replace the windshield without breaking both sides of the trim. He showed me replacements online that were several hundred dollars each and would require painting to match the car.

He referred me to a friend with his own independent windshield business who is familiar with these models and successfully changed one without breaking a few months ago. I called the guy and he walked me through the options. He said it usually goes well as long as the panels haven’t been improperly reattached with permanent glue, etc. It appears my windshield has been replaced before so that would indicate that the panels are either newer or have been removed successfully. There’s a week of rain on the forecast so I’d have to wait for a clear time to have it replaced.

I don’t doubt the integrity of either guy, the first even refused a tip as a thanks for the heads-up. The second gave some advice for if I did choose to go to one of the mainstream shops. I don’t think I’ll make an insurance claim because the repair might cost less than my deductible.

QUESTION:

Have you ever had an issue with the painted trim pieces breaking when getting a windshield replaced?
