Haven’t really deep cleaned my trim or seats since I got it 3 years ago. (I’m not messy the boxes are for when it goes to the garage next week)

Hi everyone, I’m getting a VVEL ladder leak fixed next month for my 2013 g with 122,000 miles. Since the leak requires removing the timing cover, I have some parts in my cart I’m going to buy so the mechanic installs while he’s in there for preventative maintenance. They stated that if they buy the water pump and thermostat they offer a warranty as to if it goes out or doesn’t work then they will do the labor free of charge to replace it. So that’s why they aren’t in my cart. Should I get anything else before I drop it off to the shop next month? Thank you

Edit: I have all intake gaskets (TB, Plenum, intake manifold) replaced over the past 2,500 miles so I’m not worried about them. Also spark plugs are denso and at 7,500miles. This job requires the whole intake system removed and timing cover down to the cylinder head.

This is located below the valve cover gasket and above the cylinder head. I have no idea what this gasket would be called. It’s leaking oil bad. Thank you.

UPDATE: after an hour of research it is called the VVEL ladder. It’s a layer of RTV. Unfortunately this will be a costly job. I’ll update on the exact dealer quote tomorrow or when I get it.

I have a pair of DC shorty headers and they are too short to fit my g37X is this a manufacture defect? They were supposed to fit my AWD.

Bought a nice brush kit off Amazon and some chemical guys orange degreaser.
Now I just need to get my engine bay badge back.

Installed these ADD W1 catch cans today after going around 4 months with just the breathers on my pcv system. Long story short: just buy the catch cans they’re much more worth it and look great under the hood. I had to cut some of my engine cover but you can’t even notice.

Love my G so much. This month I’ll be FBO NA (on 93) considering lowering it but it’s my daily as of right now.
