Hey Im looking for an anime/cartoon styled mech show, with 2 main protagonists, a brown haired boy and a blonde haired girl. The mechs were like voltron, and they had torpedo pods that the entered and piloted the mechs through. They each had their own mech that combined, just like in voltron. It was in an english cartoon style. There is episode/movie I remember where they fight a giant tentacle alien in the ocean, and the woman protagonist in her pink mech is being attacked, and the alien is squeezing the suit and she becomes weak. They also have to do a pose when powering up and spin.

I'm so sorry, I know theres like a million mech anime, which is why I haven't been able to find it. The style was quite old, think 90's, early 2000's style. I remember it started with M.
