Need advice on Bostons

I recently bought my first pair of Birkenstock's and absolutely love them. I got basalt gray Florida's in 40 regular/wide and have been breaking them in for the last week, my feet are happiest barefoot so they have been great for my foot issues. I definitely want Bostons for when the summer is over but I need some advice.

The 40 R/W fit great (I sent photos to their customer service and they advised not sizing up) but I will be wearing the Bostons with socks so should I size up to 41 R/W?

Also I love both the Anthracite felt and the New Navy in suede, any recommendations on one over the other?

Last question... They are both out of stock, how is Birkenstock's restocking normally? Like the second they come back do I need to order them asap or they'll disappear again for months or are they normally in stock and I just caught them at a weird time?

Reactivated EBV and HRT

I've been dealing with reactivated EBV for at least the last year if not longer... It turned up in bloodwork when my rheumatologist and naturopath were testing me for everything under this sun trying to figure out what was wrong with me. I ended up being diagnosed with reactivated EBV, fibromyalgia, secondary dysautonomia and then recently lipedema. Things had gotten so bad that I had to stop working last September and have spent the winter focusing on treating a candida over growth that also showed up in blood work, outside of that I eat an anti-inflammatory gluten-free /dairy-free/no added sugar diet, am slowly losing weight, and I'm on an LDN and Zepbound (+ supplement). The LDN+Zep have been life-changing and have taken away almost all of my pain/fatigue. I prioritize sleep and avoid stressful situations as much as I can. But I'm 47 and am definitely dealing with perimenopause as well and it's really hard to tell what is peri vs what is one of my other chronic illnesses. At my last appointment my naturopath said to do some research about HRT but I'm nervous because I know it can mess with EBV and I've worked so hard I'm trying to get it back to chronic. We will retest all my numbers this summer and I still have a few months till I see her again... Has anyone had any similar situations or gone on HRT after being diagnosed reactivated? Fit check please 😊

First pair of Birkenstocks! I have some foot issues and kept seeing them as recommended. I went to the mom and pop shoe store and they sized me at 40 (normally 9W.) They only carried narrow so I had to order the wide from Birkenstock directly. They are very comfortable walking around and standing but I want to make sure they are right before I start breaking them in. Also what's up with this blob of glue on the toe edge? Thanks! ❤️

My first pair of Birkenstocks and I'm in love with them! I just want to make sure they fit correctly, I am a 9W in all my other shoes but I know these fit different so I went to a local mom and pop shoe store and the guy sized me at a 40 but they only had the narrow fit so I ordered the 40 regular/wide fit. I have a lot of foot issues and kept seeing Birkenstocks recommended for them... I feel like these are going to be addictive.
