How should I go about contacting NHS interview panel before interview?
I have an online interview coming up for an NHS Band 3 Medical Secretary role and I really want to do well. I’ve had two unsuccessful interviews previously from different Trusts and the feedback I received was that I should try reaching out to the interview panel beforehand to ask more about the role and what they expect.
I’d like to do that for this interview, but I’m worried that because the job description is already quite detailed, I’ll just be told to refer back to it and end up seeming lazy or unprepared. Contacting interviewers beforehand about what to expect isn’t something I’ve really heard of people doing, so I’m looking for advice on how to approach it professionally without coming across as incompetent.
Any useful tips or advice would be really appreciated.
