Hey everyone!! I recently got accepted into mcmaster BscN and Mohawk cardiovascular technology. I am a bit hesitant which to go with. If you have any info or insight about both programs please share it and help me.
I do like nursing however I worry about body fluids that I might come in contact with which is annoying.
Also I am a mature student/ a mom if that makes any difference.
I love both programs but job availability does make a difference. What do you guys think?

I just got my offer for BscN at Mac main and mo-Mac and I have a few questions. I was looking if there is any group to connect with all the new students for Sept 2026
While waiting to find a group I would appreciate help with these questions:

-Which is better mo-mac or just Mac? Still not sure which to accept.
-I know it is a heavy program but do you think it is manageable with 2 kids(4 and 6)??
-Are lectures online or in person?
-Do I have to be in campus everyday all day?
-For the final mark is it only mid term and finals or there is other possibilities where I can bring my marks up like labs tests quizzes or grp work?
-I am an average student I rarely get A but I try to stay B- and B+ do you think nursing at Mac is not for me??
- I really wanna be honest with myself before committing to this journey. I love everything science related but do struggle with my English as it is my 3rd language so my writing skills are not the best. I think I am panicking and doubting myself right now, the more I read about the program the more I get discouraged.
