27 year old, aussie thats just getting into etfs, (10months) ​ And needs a little help and guidance.

I put away 2.5k a fortnight into VGS & VAS split 80/20. That's pretty comfortable for me as I don't have a mortgage and happy renting. As I'm on good coin.

Just wondering how I could be better? Should I switch to batashares as they have cheaper fees. Or switch etfs. Any help would be appreciated

So just got my 2002 2.7 3rz hilux back from the Mechanic and there is water all through the motor and shooting out the 3rd cylinder. He said it'll need a new motor.

His mate did me a rough quote of $9900 for a full rebuild and labour. Includes a new head.

Seems crazy to me. Might as well get a LS and get my moneys worth.

Just trying to figure out the next text of action.

Find somewhere cheaper to rebuild it and possibly to suit a turbo or put another kind of motor in it
