Hi guys, I'm given to understand that getting under 5000 position will get us scholar 20% on tuition. (Income not considered; income>12 lpa).

But someone mentioned to also be top 5% of the major... But most likely everyone will choose CS I guess in top 5k.. So realistically what position is necessary?

So I'm submitting my scorecard which will put me in a category let's say X, but I've put papers for reeval which could potentially take me to X+1. How do we update the scorecard later on?

I got 20.5k rank in VITEEE.

I'm open to both Vellore and Chennai, but I need the better placement and internship opportunities.

Can I get CSE core? Which CAT 4/5? what campus?

I don't need to take a loan, but I would prefer paying less for better ROI, would VITians recommend taking lower branch and then switch after first year?

What branch would you suggest? It only makes sense if it's 1/2, as difference between 3-5 is minimal.
