Bachelor's before pharmacy school?

Hi all,

I just got my associates at a community college and completed most of the pharmacy pre-reqs in the process. I wanted to get my bachelor's in biology before I applied to pharmacy school, in case I ended up finding something I actually enjoyed. I didn't end up receiving the grant I needed for undergrad, which was what most of my plans were based on. I still ended up getting in, but I was wondering if it was even worth it since I'd have to pay out of pocket? I would have to work so many hours while in school to afford it. I know pharmacy school is gonna be much more expensive, so I'm not sure how wise it is to pay that much for undergrad and then for pharmacy school right after.

I really wanted my bachelor's because I really enjoy studying biology, and I was so excited to finally take actual biology classes lol. Eventually I do want to go and get my master's in plant biology/botany, but if this is still doable with a PharmD then I might as well skip the bachelor's.. right? Any and all advice is welcome. Thank you!

Do fall classes usually get full so early?

Hi all,

Just got admitted as a transfer student. Apparently new student advising for transfer students doesn't start until June 1st, but registering for classes opened up in April? How am I supposed to know what classes I need before meeting with an advisor? lol. I barely found out about the foreign language requirement, so I opened up the class registration page and everything is almost full already. I wanted to take KOR101 but I guess I can't?

Do more class sections open up during the summer? Like should I just pick random classes I think fit by looking at my degree audit lol

Do peonies usually bloom so quickly?

Hi all! Beginner here, so please bear with me lol. I saw the prettiest peonies at the store today, and one was huge! Like fully bloomed. I‘m making a bouquet for a friend tomorrow but didn’t want to go to the store in the morning so I went late afternoon and bought a little bunch of peonies, one that was super bloomed and two that were bulbs. I figured the one that was already open could last a night and then some, and that the bulbs would open after I’ve already given the bouquet. But dang, they all opened fully already! It’s been maybe 4 hours since I bought them. All I did was trim the stems and put them in a vase. Do peonies usually bloom this fast? Are they going to last me until tomorrow to actually make the bouquet? Lol
