How long are you guys waiting for treatment under CMHT?

I know timeframes can vary a lot person to person and in different areas however wondering if I can get a general idea

For reference I was referred in June 2025, waited 9 months to see a ‘wellbeing practitioner’ who decided they were not appropriate and I needed to be referred for more intensive therapy (in march this year) and told they would be in touch about an assessment with psychology.

Saw a psychiatrist once at the beginning of June (a year after I was referred) though have just been told to see GP for my medication since. GP is not very helpful and the medication hasn’t been working. No info on any upcoming appointments and no idea what sort of timeframe for the therapy assessment.

Just wondering if this seems normal or I should be chasing them more?

Microneedle cartridge had a missing needle? -PLEASE HELP-

I was doing a session of microneedling on some acne scars using a 16pin Dr pen M8 cartridge, and had just changed the cartridge as I was moving to a different area.

After microneedling a small area I noticed there was a small section missing on the cartridge end. After inspecting it there is definitely 15 pins and not 16.

After looking at it closely it doesn’t seem like the needle had broken off or anything just that there wasn’t one placed there.

Is this most likely a manufacturing error, or should I be worried that the needle is in my skin or something?

Has this happened to anyone else?

CMHT appointments - do you usually get given a diagnosis on the day, or later in letters?

I recently had an appointment for an assessment with a psychiatrist from CMHT. This is after seeking mental health support for years for my severe anxiety + other symptoms.

I have been told by therapists that my symptoms don’t really fit any particular anxiety disorder, and over the years I have been given various ‘working diagnoses’ of everything from OCD, GAD, social anxiety, to personality disorders, autism and PTSD.

As a result I would like to know what is actually wrong, or at least a professional opinion from someone actually qualified to diagnose.

During the appointment she clarified that it says on my notes that I would like a diagnosis, I agreed and she said something along the lines of ‘hmm you definitely have anxiety’.

I haven’t received any letters from the appointment yet but was wondering whether that’s it or if there is usually more sent later on?
