an opinion needed question

Hi there, firsr of all im sorry if this type of question is out there a lot but i do really need answers from people who experience this themselves instead on paper answer from the internet

  1. I want to get a handheld PC and i came down to 2 choices now in terms of my budget and preferences. I am someone who don't really play pc games. i don't have any experience in playing on pc as i don't have a pc anyway. I was a nintendo person but right now i wanna try AAA titles. However, i do played some of the games that was available on other consoles as well as pc such as Ghost of Tsushima, TLOU, and almost all the Soulsborne games. So basically my choice of games are always gonna be a story driven immersion single player. i wont play multiplayer games much. I also know my way to tinker the settings on the graphics and performance so it's not a tinkering issues problem

  2. My choices are Rog Ally with Z1E extreme but with and upgraded 80Watts battery same as the Rog Ally X & obviously a Steamdeck OLED. Prices for me is a bit easy to ignore since i can find them relatively only $50 more or less. The Steamdeck is on the more expensive side compared to the Rog Ally (somehow).

  3. I just wanna ask what is the in person experience of these handhelds since i know steam deck is great in various ways but it's getting older and runs AAA tiles decent compared to a better performance on Rog Ally (youtube source). However, because of the SteamOS, the Steamdeck gets a point for stability. I don't know much about Windows, i heard they run pretty bad compared to SteamOS but not that it's really bad tho.

questions and thoughts about the switch

hi community, i think this is a basic dumb question but i need to ask here as i can't really find my answer on the internet. i wanna get a modded switch, but first i will say that im already familiar with modding stuff but never in the switch, mostly on android handheld or pc. i wanna get one to play my switch games (the ones i have or on the internet. just wanna ask what's the current emulation capabilities does this switch have in the latest 2026? i know it will run switch games good (maybe?) but what about other mid-heavy consoles like 3ds, wii, gc (i know tico js came out) wii u, or maybe some ps. i don't wanna bother soldering or doing it myself. just gonna get from someone. thank you☺️

hello retroid community, i just got my first ever emulator handheld which is the G2. it's my first time so i have fairly less knowledge. well i've done emulation on my 3ds before but imo that's easy compared to an actual emulator handheld with all thr consoles emulator available. i've been watching Retri Game Corps for a long time now and decided to follow the guide from there. If you all got any tips or fun things to start my emulation journey. i would love to know. Cheers!
