I need advice as a new CCU nurse
Hi everyone! I'm not a fresh grad, I've had IM ward experience for half a yr before taking taking the NCLEX. Applied to a larger hospital, and I've been assigned to the CCU.
GUYS I'M SO OVERWHELMED!!! I was pretty confident with my bedside skills but CCU had me crazy it felt like I never learned anything at all! I feel so stupid and lost. Is it really that hard and complicated?
And don't get me started with the machines! There's so much going on I can't keep it in one go. I don't want to back out since it's a great opportunity but I feel like I'm too slow on adjusting to it. To be fair I'm not really good with cardio. I wasn't familiar with everything and for a fast-paced environment, I'm pretty slow so far since I'm fairly new. Feels like I'm learning through experience with how things unfold so that's why I make so many mistakes.
If you have any tips on how to make things easier pls advise :( I'd really appreciate it huhuhu.
