Dear brothers and sisters we're gathered once more for a new Carmen shenanigans.

This time she's remind us, thanks to a paid article, which HQ are in Miami, same city where she introduced Barriers in US, what's Barriers primal focused: skincare.

Which is being getting praised and placed alongside big brands. And omg guys the crew is so shocked realizing this (that whole group photo is weird), while she has to afraid to agree with that Miami magazine, shy—sugar.

Is not the only magazine where this has being featured. There's also CD Traveller who's writer for that article is mutual of Patricio and all the magazines owned by Condé Nast, which has a contract with F1 (I'm guessing for promoting more wags than drivers)

And look, I get that every owner needs to promote their products but when most of the reviews came from this kind of paid articles, you should have a critical eyes. Specially if we're talking about skincare, something that can benefits or damage people skin.

This is gonna be long, so bare with me. You already know me.

I know for a lot of people this is like the engagement of the century and for some people is a way of George to hold thigh onto his "lucky on something" stuff. Because if they're gonna be perceived as the perfect couple for the good as an united front, they should be an united front for everything else.

Whatever.

I've seen people calling them more genuine and classy (not exactly this word) than Alex and Charles with their engagement and I really can't see it. Because they're exactly the same attention seekers.

I've my own theories, based in nothing (just things I see and coincidences) like all those hints that boss babe left since Monaco:

The whole bouquet situation in her bestie wedding and the "lucky in something" (this is the less proof, is just me).

The joint interview with the 5 year timeline.

The picture in that farm with the "my life in a couple of years".

The bunch of pictures hitting of wedding stuff in Barcelona (the cake, the flowers, the ring, the church if you want to add them.

The over excitement for the summer vacations. She was constantly reminding everyone in her channel about that.

If I'm not wrong she said that something special was coming too (but don't remember if it was something related to Barriers)

And the turtles. All those photos of turtles just to share the turtle branded in the ring? Yeah. Not buying it.

Ohh... special mention to those times "Carmen" lurked talking about how they will get engaged and they already treated each other as fiancé and fiancée. And that account that told that they will get engaged in the summer brake in St. Barth.

But what's most funny in all of this is the Barriers products placement between the photo dumps. Like... come on 😭 in both Carmen and George. Again special mention to the "I'm just a normal girl" painting with a coffee in her stomach. Or the "we're normal people" with the game where they're beat by a 9 year old girl. Or the "we're still focused on the game" with them training.

And while there's been just 2 photo dumps the intention is there and it's clear. Specially for those who firmly believe that this was spontaneous with that whole boat picture, the picture of them at the beginning (I don't think turtles are photographers) and the stylized white dress. And ofc the rest of the photos that someone else took. Which, is nothing bad, but... I hope you get the point.

This is the new level of their PR game, just exactly as Alex and Charles did back them. And in my opinion is gonna get worse with the involvement of Mercedes media this weekend. And probably in Madrid and Singapore.

So all of this was just to tell that they're indeed performative, attention seekers and pr gamers just much as Alex and Charles.
