Hope this is ok for this sub! Just seen this and it looks so good it’s driving me insane. I recognise the green peppers and baby corn but what’s the rest? Is this a known dish? Tried googling SY chicken but I can’t read any of the rest of the text.
Rented apartment, snapped hinge. This shower door mechanism has been stiff from the rollers dragging on the rails ever since I moved in and after two years the bottom hinge finally snapped while closing the door. While looking for a replacement I have been plunged into a seemingly unsolvable mystery of what the heck this style of shower door even is - I can’t find anything like it online.
The left panel is on a pivot hinge and the right one is on a roller. The two panels are connected by these two long hinges which force a big gap between them - approx 17cm when the door is fully folded. This gap gradually reduces as the right door moves along the roller until the door is shut.
On the bottom hinge, the connecting part has snapped off the left door. The door still closes fully if I’m careful to keep the door vertical as I move it along.
Despite intensive searching I’ve failed to even find the name of this type of hinge or shower door and I feel a little bit insane. Can anyone put me out of my misery?
The only markings are on the glass itself: GS15124/007 (HR), and the flat was built around 1999 if that helps. Photos 3, 4 and 5 are of the intact top hinge as it’s a bit easier to see how it’s supposed to look.
