What fish is that?

What fish is that?

If it helps it's probably a Baltic fish. It was smoked

Anyone knows the recipe for the Creamour chocolate cake?

This cake seems to be otherworldly. Anyone has any idea at least of what fillings it may use? The top seems like a chocolate crumble. It does not look like a regular Ganache or Namelaka. But I really don't know and do not have the experience on the matter.

LOLLIPOP HELP. Going crazy

PHOTOS ARE EXAMPLES PLS READ BELOW:

I have so many memories of eating this very specific lollipop as a kid. I just brought it up to my family, they all know exactly what I’m talking about but what we cannot find it online or recall the name.
I am looking for an early 2000s flat disk lollipop, round but slightly imperfect like the caramel apple pop or Life Savers Swirled Pop or tiger pops.

It was half white/cream and half brown, possibly swirled or split. The brown was dark, the other half was white.
I can’t remember the flavor exactly— Flavor was vanilla coffee, mocha, chocolate, cappuccino, coffee cream, espresso, or vanilla caramel coffee. Not tiger pops, Chupa Chups, not Charms, not a sphere shaped(ball shape) gourmet pop.
Individually wrapped, likely from oriental trading, a pharmacy/party store/etc .
Does anyone remember this or have a photo?!

NOTE: Photos attached are examples of the shape / look.
They are not the lollipops I’m looking for. Please don’t keep sending me the names of the photos I attached or candies that aren’t lollipops

EDIT: thank you so much to everyone who has taken the time to try to find these darn lollies’
I really appreciate you taking the time to search with me

LAST EDIT: It may have been the discontinued tootsie hot chocolate pops! Unfortunately there are literally no photos of the product aside this ONE. At least, I couldn’t find any others. But this product was around very early 2000s so this could very well be it. I don’t necessarily remember the chocolate flavor, but it’s the closest thing posted so far !!
Here’s the the only pic I found — I asked AI to touch it up which you’ll see in the second pic LINK BELOW

Hispanic market sauces

Can anyone help me identify/name the salsas that are at the salsa bar at my local Hispanic market?
I know the second from the left in the back is traditional salsa (as in what an American would immediately think of as “salsa”), and the front left is just chopped tomato. The back right is tomatillo salsa - the one in front of it seems to be the same but with the addition of onions and cilantro. Far left on the back row is the only one I tried, and all I know is it’s got a moderate spice. I’m mostly curious about the other three.

Where is this pistachio pannetone from?

I got this as a gift two years ago and loved every bit of it, but threw out the packaging before I could find out where it was from (stupid move, I know). I just remembered it today and wanted to post some old pictures I took of it online to see if anyone knows where I can get it from. There seems to be a logo or something on the second picture but I don’t know what it’s for. I’m in Australia if it helps.

Edit: *panettone

Family friend dropped this off. What is it? And how do I eat it?

She works at an Asian food restaurant, If that helps at all!
Edit: I’ve seen a lot of people commenting “why didn’t you just ask her” She doesn’t speak English and usually her daughter translates for her, but she wasn’t there.

Filipino catfish/lemongrass/coconut milk/peppercorn soup OR glass noodles

Hello! When I was a teenager, I went over to my church friend’s house and her mom made us some filipino food that I dream of To This Day. The soup was INCREDIBLE and I want to find the recipe for it. I know there was fish in it, but I’m uncertain if it was catfish. When I asked her mom what was in it she said coconut milk and peppercorns but I’m pretty sure there was some other stuff as well haha. I think I tasted lemongrass or something citrussy but nothing overpowering. She made it in a crockpot if that’s relevant.

Alternatively, she also made glass noodles with some veggies that I’d love the recipe for. They were kind of golden (still clear though!) and had very thinly sliced carrots in them and some other veg. I unfortunately don’t have this friend’s contact information anymore, and I know she was always embarrassed about her mom serving us traditional food vs like, ordering dominos or something.

Breakfast in Reims, France

Anyone know the name of this delicious little cake? It seems to have a high egg content, it’s not too sweet, with a texture between a choux pastry and a Yorkshire pudding. I would like to try my hand at recreating this. Thanks in advance!

Mystery food item

Hey people. Mystery food item. Anyone know what that is? Smells of oats or coconut and seems to contain dried fruits. I assume it's some sort of dessert.

What is this?

I was eating chicken from my curry when I felt something stringy and tough in my mouth and pulled it out. It’s around an inch long. The chicken was properly cooked and it looks like connective tissue but I’m just checking

2000s fruit snack

Okay here is what I remember:

Texture- not sticky when chewed like scooby doo or shark gummies. Clear and glossy like an albanese gummy bear

Flavors- cherry, orange, grape, green apple, strawberry, unknown flavor (as a kid I called it grapefruit but who knows). The orange is a full circle disk shape with a detailed wagon wheel pattern.

Packaging - individual snack bags. Maybe yellow.

I always got these at White Castle with my dad growing up but after extensive googling it may have been a franchise specific decision because I cannot find anyone else talking about receiving fruit snacks at White Castle in the 2000s.

See drawing for shapes. Photo one is all flavors I remember. Photo two is trying really hard to make the grape and "grapefruit" shapes make sense.

turkish delight-like candy

about a year ago my mom’s friend went to visit her mom in Palestine and brought back some candy. there was one that was individually packaged and came in multiple colors like green, yellow and red with different flavors. it looked similar to this pic, but had no filling, it was softer than a gummy but i don’t think it’s a turkish delight since i can’t find it when i look them up. they tasted and smelled fruity and floral-y but i couldn’t figure out the exact flavor. they had a thin coating of sugar or something on the outside, but i don’t think it was powdered sugar/cornstarch.

Chinese Style chicken dish with sauce

First time poster here. I am trying to identify this Chinese-style chicken dish + especially the sauce from these pictures. (Last 2 pics are a duck version of the food).

I used to have this quite often when I was a kid while we lived in my home country (Slovakia) but now in the UK I have not been able to find a place that does anything similar.

The chicken was super crispy and the sauce was some sort of sweet soy sauce and kinda sticky. The sauce had a thick, honey-like consistency that smoothly coated the chicken rather than being thin or runny.

Does anyone know:

  1. what this style of dish is actually called?
  2. what the dark sauce might be?
  3. any recipes that are close to this?

I’ve been trying to find it online but had no success. Any help appreciated.

Edit: It should be from the Chinese cuisine as it was a Chinese restaurant that served this food.

Am I imagining orange bagels from Target Bakery?

About 30 years ago, I remember getting orange colored bagels at the bakery in Target. I don’t recall the exact taste, but I remember devouring them every time we would get them. I assume they were cheese flavored. Am I making this up or does anyone else recall an orange colored bagel at the bakery at Target?
