Reverse-Engineer a Recipe from a Closed Restaurant

This is a photo of a dish I ordered back in 2017. I remember the dish as "Whiskey Barrel Dip", an absolutely delicious chip dip appetizer at a pub known as "The Vault 29" in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. It had a spicy, cheesy, sort of tangy flavor to it. The way it complimented the tortilla chips and pita bread slices is unlike anything I've had since. I've managed to find a picture of the menu describing it, mentioning some of the ingredients, but not all. If anyone has any idea what the recipe may have been I'd love your input!

Here's what the menu described it as:
Whiskey Barrel Dip
Try our dangerous Jalapeno and cheddar dip, topped with panko, parmesan, and fresh herbs, served in three oversized crispy onion rings, with pita bread slices and tortilla chips.

Edit: The dip was served hot

Discontinued British biscuit

can anybody please help me try to figure out what this discontinued british biscuit is i remember having a child? i’d say maybe before 2014. the brown would be a biscuit and it had a raised edge, inside was this soft icing - almost like the custard cream filling texture. it was alternating in quarters like i’ve shown on the picture and im sure you could get different flavours too like chocolate and banana maybe? they were absolutely delicious and id love licking the icing out of the middle. i think they’d come in a big packet with smaller packets inside containing around 4 biscuits? im not sure what the brand could be but i know we’ve shopped at asda, lidl, and aldi our entire lives so it could be one of those.

Looking for the name of a food if anyone remembers it- S'mores snacks

My husband described this snack from his childhood and I'm struggling to find the name. According to him it was in a dunkaroos-style package with a marshmallow frosting, cookies/crackers, a stick for spreading frosting, and a chocolate bar.

Any leads or help is super appreciated!

Update: He clarified that this was definitely in the 90s and they were buying them at a military commissary on the base where they lived, if that helps

What’s this dish with green peppers and baby corn called and where can I get my hands on it?

Hope this is ok for this sub! Just seen this and it looks so good it’s driving me insane. I recognise the green peppers and baby corn but what’s the rest? Is this a known dish? Tried googling SY chicken but I can’t read any of the rest of the text.

Sam's Club Frozen Chicken Hot Pocket Things

I think it was sold in Sam's Club sometime from 2000-2010, and it came in a sort of black box. There were two large chicken hot pocket bake things in each box, and each had a lot of calories. There was definitely chicken and white sauce. I think there may have also been bacon or herbs or something. They were really good and I don't remember the brand name (it might have started with an "M" like "Michael Angela's?" I don't know). I remember them being delicious and creamy and I wish I could have another one right now. Anyone know what I'm talking about.

Small balls in this nut mix i recieved at a bar in Spain

(Other nuts for scale)

They are small, puffy and crispy, and have a very slight cheesy or oniony flavor. They are mostly spherical, but some of them had a more organic shape. I want to buy a whole bag of them now!

Help with a certain popsicle

2000s to early 2010s maybe, at my summer camp we always got an ice cream after rest period. 1 of them was a certain popsicle that i believe was 3 years. I’m pretty sure it was red white and green or something but my sister thinks it was orange instead of red so unsure exactly on the colors. Main feature was that it was layers. But not stacked on top of each other, it was inner to outer layers. From the outside it was predominately 1 color but at the bottom you could see 1 or maybe both of what the inner colors are. It was also pretty darn thick popsicle. No swirls, no texture, just rounded at the top and straight on the sides. Thanks in advance!

Edit: Added note, I THINK it was blue bunny brand but not positive. But that was definitely the main brand the camp ordered the treats from

UPDATE: I FOUND IT! It’s the Blue BELL Mega Bite. I remembered having blue bunny but it’s because the camp switched to that after blue bell had that outbreak of ecoli or something all those years ago. Once I looked up blue bell popsicles I found a random Facebook post saying “Bring them back” and it had a picture of it! Thanks for trying to help!

Looking for a Canadian (?) chip brand

Not sure if 'chips' is the right term for them, as they were more like crouton pieces, but I'm fairly sure they were in the chip aisle. They were small, oval and maybe about a finger's width wide and the ones I had were something like sour cream and chive or sour cream and onion, there might have been other flavours (I feel like there was one other flavour, but could be wrong about that). I used to buy these from Safeway in Vancouver in the 2010s, I recall that the bag was mostly white and quite fancy and expensive. I don't live in Canada any more, but a conversation with a friend got me thinking about them again.

Greek dish, pita bread stuffed with sausage stuffed with feta cheese, yogurt with red powder sprinkled on it, chopped onion, lettuce, and olives

It's one of my favourite foods, I recognise it when I see it in pictures. The sausage is stuffed with feta cheese and something green, very similar to cevapi. I've also had it in Greece in bowl form, that time it was just the sausages, yogurt, and the red powder (served all together, not separately).

I'm trying to develop a vegetarian version of it, but I don't even know what it's called.

Update: Why am I being downvoted for literally using this sub for its intended purpose? I even drew a picture.

Update 2: The name of the sausage inside appears to be called "gemisto bifteki"

What is this Bridgerton tea pastry?

I’m watching Bridgerton season four right now, and in episode three they focus on this pastry on a tea table for a solid five seconds (at 12:50). Now it’s all I can think about as the episode goes on. I’m not a baker and not familiar with tea-specific desserts.

It looks too big to be a shortbread or a cookie, and it does not appear to have a scone‘s texture… I think it may be red velvet, possibly? Whatever it is, I’m hoping I can find and/or bake one myself.

Thanks for your help!

What are these "capers" look-alike in my stir-fried frog

These were absolutely incredible, and never tasted anything like them in Asian cuisine before. They had this strong umami flavor, that made you immediately salivate when you chewed on it. It was also strangely slightly cooling. I couldn't find anything on it.

What is this thing? Law & Order s17e3, mid-2000s NY.

Appears to be a "healthy" meal eaten by the skinny female prosecutor/ADA, lunch, looks like a decently nice place, I think that's a nice beer and free bread. Couldn't spot anyone else's plates but someone else is drinking a martini by the bar. Lawyers at a work lunch. One of them refers to it as "a bar" instead of a restaurant. Visible kitchen in the back.

Edit: wow this got a lot of attention. Consensus seems to be portabello. I have a hard time seeing that but my partner will feel vindicated in his guess.

Fudgy Bunnies

Looking for some help! I'm trying to find the name of an Easter candy from the late 80s- early 90s. My cousin and I called them fudgy bunnies. They came in a cello bag, and were either chocolate or caramel flavored bodies with vanilla heads. The texture was similar to mellowcreme. I can't find any evidence they ever existed! Does anyone else know what I'm talking about?!

Double shelled pink sparkly Magnum ice cream bar with red jelly in between chocolate and pink ice cream inside

this is the only picture i have of it, it was in France in 2018. it’s not the ruby bar that comes up when i google it. ive tried other pink magnum bars but they don’t have the double shell or jelly. it was milk chocolate under the pink sparkly layer but everything else was strawberry i think?

Pickled what from an Egyptian place?

It just says pickles on the menu and I get delivery so I can't ask but I'm in love. Is it jicama? Good crunch, super perky like a dill pickle but I don't think there's dill. Not sweet. I don't think it's onion but I could be wrong. Served with Hawawshi.

Second for bonus points: is it easy to do a quick fridge version?

Interesting vegetable in my Tunisian all inclusive. No label

They crinkle cut them like fries, but theyre a raw or perhaps pickled vegetable. Bright red outside but an orange core. About an inch across on the cross section, texture of raw apple, very firm.

I'm stumped on these but theyre tasty! A little tangy with a light spice.

Fingers crossed you guys can help, because whatisthisthing automodded me.

Popscicle in South Africa in 2012-2015

I’m begging it was literally the most delicious popsicle I’ve ever had and I’ve been searching for years. It was mango and lime possibly. It was a push up pop, but the kind you squeeze at the bottom, and it goes up
