Sleeper is still posting content on social media, but it’s been years since they’ve released any meaningful updates to the actual app.
I went through their site to check:
Their Newsletter section most recent article is the 2025 Super Bowl and nothing since then.
• Their Announcements section has a post from November 2024 about opening up developer access for “Sleeper Minis.”
• But their dedicated App Updates section? The last post is from August 4, 2023 a redesign announcement that’s now almost 3 years old.
Since then, nothing. No new features, no quality-of-life improvements, no major updates listed. Just occasional blog-style newsletters and developer announcements of which haven’t been updated in years.
All that was really added recently has been the chopped mode but I really gravitated towards this platform as they were constantly updating it with new features every year but they’ve since stopped doing so.
They’re active on Twitter/X but nothing about content.
They haven’t even updated the website version in forever either, it doesn’t even support features accessible in the mobile app.
It really feels like the app hasn’t seen any substantial love in a very long time. Anyone else noticing this, or is it just me?
