[COD] i heard they are removing blahops 6 from the cod hq but why not just get rid of cod hq in the first place? Lets talk

i see and hear most people want the hq / cod launcher or whatever to get totaly wiped away from existence and i couldn't agree more on this! Cod hear me out just launch all games as each their own game like the old days just that easy.

[WAW] "brave soldier, die with me"

now... i'm not no fucking paranormal investigator, but that sentence TO ME sounds a lot like a ghost calling out from hell, egging the soldier she's talking to, to kill himself or get killed willingly to "join her".

I got the game during the steam sale and started playing it using Keyboard and mouse and boy is this game a sweat fest. Every one is crazy rank and the grind in this is just so slow like god I have to play the game for atleast 150hrs just to unlock all the guns and ranking up those guns is a different nightmare, like 60 levels for a single gun?? Are you kidding me that's crazy the gun grind+ every one is just camping in this shit game and the maps are outrageously big. Man i am so fatigued after playing this game

Prediction: if the rumors are true that MW4 is going to lead to a [GHOSTS] reboot, Ghost is going to name the dog Johnny

I’ve heard speculation that MW4 will be the final MW game and kill off most characters, leading to a Ghosts reboot with Simon Riley leading the Ghost team. In the original Ghosts, IW named the dog Riley as a tribute to the Ghost who inspired the creation of the game, but in this universe, Simon Riley would be on that team, so it wouldn’t make as much sense to name the dog Riley. I think Ghost would name the dog Johnny after his best friend from Task Force 141

[COD4] Were there any plans for a MW4 in the OG MW Days?

Basically I'm saying did IW ever plan to originally make a Modern Warfare 4 in the OG timeline or was it always meant to be a Trilogy?

[MW3] Question about the base game and what's available

so since mw3 is coming to ps plus I thought of giving it a shot and downloading it but upon investing further the complete game is around 350GB??

If I download the 90GB base game of COD I essentially just downloaded a launcher for the game and can't play anything right away right? if I want to only play the campaign I need to download the campaign packs separately or upon downloading the 90GB base game I can just jump right away into a game mode whether it's online or campaign or even local co op.

can anyone elaborate on how the cod system works?

[COD] CoD is such a broad community, isn't it? While I'm having the most fun I've had in years with Black Ops Classic mode, there are sweats and pro players writing open letters against it

[WAW] Planning on getting an older COD for the Steam Summer Sale. It will be my first COD. I'm debating between these:

I've never played COD before, and I want an older COD so it can run on my laptop without too much. Since they don't really have active multiplayer, I want one with a lot of content aside from multiplayer. I'm only planning on getting one

Here's what I'm thinking of getting:

  1. World At War. It has zombies, which is a huge pro in the extra content, and it apparently has a long and good campaign. I actually played this for 15 minutes with my friend, because we found his old Wii, and he had WAW on the Wii. We didn't beat any missions, because it was too hard to aim with the Wiimote, but I'm gonna get this on PC if I do.

  2. COD 4 (Modern Warfare). This campaign seems to be held as the greatest COD campaign of all time by some, but I already got some parts spoiled (like who dies, and the ending to MW3). My problem with it is how much content there is. Is the campaign really worth getting it for? No zombies is something that kind of turned me down.

  3. Black Ops 2. This one had a huge appeal with multiplayer and everything, but the campaign seems to be loved. It also has zombies, which means that it has more content. I don't know any spoilers for what happens in the game, I only know the main idea (set in 2025, BO1 was set 30 years ago from a Vietnam veteran, switching time periods, all that).

  4. COD 2003. The original Call of Duty. How's the campaign? Is it long enough?

these are the ones I'm considering getting.

[COD] Is it safe to play old cod games on steam os online? (Steam deck)

All these old cod games play great on steam os on deck, max settings and a smooth 120fps.

Is it safe to play online since it's on Linux? Do the remote exploits and hacks only impact windows?

[MW3] things should've been Killstreaks.

In MW3, Survival mode we encounter Sucide bombers and later Sucide dogs. I always thought these guys could have been a unique and interesting killstreak for MP. The Killstreak would've cost around 11 kills, for 1 minute you get AI Sucide Bombers running into the map. They're easy to Kill, but they blow up instantly upon death. They also do shoot at Kill enemy players. For 12 kills you could have Sucide attack dogs. 😅

Today was my first day playing real humans in COD [COD]

So I finally Jumped in a real game for the first time, today......after training with bots for several. And im pretty happy with this progress made only just today. I just joined a facebook group for women of call of duty and this post may be more suitable there, idk. But in the meantime, i just wanted to give this small update. I was the new player who posted a clip of doing a triple kill (hardened bots) the other day.

Why the hype with BO1/BO2 ports if they’ve been on Xbox for years? [BO]

Just wanting to check if I’ve missed something but why are people making a big deal of the upcoming BO1/BO2 ports when they’re been available to play on Series X etc for years since they became backwards compatible and has been available to purchase on the marketplace for years also?

[GHOSTS] Are the multiplayer servers for ghosts still active?

I had recently played ghosts in a way where multiplayer is not possible and i was considering buying it if the servers were still somewhat active on xbox or pc.

[COD] What forgotten kill/scorestreaks should make a return?

I would like to see Delta Sqaud/MW3, Paratroopers/WW2, or Strike Team/BO4 make a return. For those who don't remember, you could call in an AI sqaud hat drops into the map and assist you. They could help run around the map or follow you and get kills or capture objectives on foot.
