- Weaver was imprisoned following the events of Forsaken in 1985.
- Mason and Hudson were KIA in Panama in 1989.
- Weaver escaped in 1991, went on a series of adventures (both on Earth and in the Dark Aether), returned, and died 5 years later in 1996.
- Woods passed away in 2034, being the last of the OG Black Ops characters to die.
Only exception would be if they all read each others’ files at a certain point of time before one’s death.
Recently bought this from my local thrift store for $3, apparently this is one of the lesser-known Village People albums that was released only in Europe, Asia, and Australia (as evident with the J-card stating it was made in Italy, so a European release).
How rare is it to come across these in the US?
Happy 4th of July, everyone! 🇺🇸

Edit to clear up confusion: This is referring to the fact that as of now, Weaver has never spoken once in any of the intro/outro cutscenes.
It’s been a while since I’ve gone to the range with my milsurps (might go back sometime soon since my birthday’s coming up), so I thought I’d share a couple of my favorite milsurp range stories:
Whenever I’d bring my M1 Garand to the range, it would be the loudest out of everyone’s firearms (they were moderns, either AR-platforms or Glocks). Every time I fired a shot, it made such a loud BOOM causing some to peek out from their booths wondering what the heck I was shooting that was so loud. At one point, someone even rushed over to watch once they heard the en bloc clip hit the ground with that iconic, ASMR “ping!”.
One time when I brought my Lee Enfield No.4 Mk1, an employee noticed and shared that he also had one (albeit a No.5 Mk1, aka Jungle Carbine) but had trouble finding ammo at good prices. So my dad gave him some of our ammo, and he was extremely happy and grateful. This was several years ago, so since then I’m hoping he was able to find and get more.
Feel free to share your own favorite milsurp range stories!
I thought the opening scene was pretty lit, starting in Darjeeling’s tank with her casually sipping on her tea with Orange Pekoe before the camera pans out to reveal the St. Gloriana tanks being surrounded by the combined Ooarai-Chihatan force.
Then the opening credits/montage after, where it showed each Ooarai team’s insignia and respective tank with that sweet classic melody playing in the background.
Let me know what your most favorite scene(s) are!
Who here also has Miho as their favorite GUP character?
I’m planning on selling cleaned OEM Gameboy parts (specifically for the DMG-01 model) like shells, screws, and buttons on eBay for those in need, and I’m wondering if it’s worth pursuing.
Reposted to add more photos and context.

Recently got a Gameboy DMG-01 for $25 to restore, and once I opened it up I realized this was going to be a bit harder to fix than the previous two DMG-01s I restored in the past two days.
Speaker looks cooked and one of the wires broke off, along with some corrosion on the edges of the board next to it. Might either replace the speaker or get an IPS screen to replace the entire circuit.
Headphone jack, link port, and power switch all have corrosion. Probably easy cleans, but I worry they might still not function properly after.
I’ll see if I can try getting this one restored as much as possible, if not then I’ll just use it as a parts kit.
I’m currently working on restoring a DMG-01, and I’ve got everything fixed except for the sound. Still trying to figure it out as of now.
As shown in the video, the external sound is muffled even though the volume slider is cranked up to the max. However, the sound is good when headphones are plugged in.
Volume slider and headphone jacks have been ruled out as I have thoroughly cleaned them of any dust/dirt or corrosion, though I might take another look at them if needed. I’m probably thinking it might be the speaker, but besides that I can’t think of anything else that is causing this problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
