The Greatest 1-Yard Run in NFL History (James Develin 2013)

As I said in another thread, the extra E in Develin's name stands for extra EFFORT. This is the best example of that.

Will Campbell is working out with Lane Johnson, and Dion Dawkins this off-season.

Very short video, but it shows he's trying to get better after his post-season performance.

A round of beer with Mr.Brady?

Anyone going to this? Untold stories of Tom Brady and his road to being the Greatest QB of all time & beer ain’t a bad way to spend the evening

Just finished the Drake Maye jersey collection today.

I now have his home, away, red alt, blue alt and his unc home jersey. I remember wanting so many jerseys as a kid and not being able to get them. And now you either can’t get them, or you can but it’s over priced and only the modern jerseys. Like who wants the Pats current home jersey of Brady or Vrabel when you could have the throwback blue, white or silver?

So as an adult, I’m just collecting every jersey of every player that I like and then eventually they’ll just hang on a wall in a man cave. I definitely don’t want to miss out like I did on Brady, AP, LT, Dawkins, etc. Is it wasteful? Sure. But at least they’ll look good with the autographed memorabilia 🤣

The Patriots pull off an incredibly athletic punt save versus the Steelers

This was the season we fell to 9-5 and everyone thought we didn’t have it anymore.

And then we won 5 straight and the super bowl.

Player not synonymous with patriots success but you think was vital

Il start by saying there are a lot of players that I feel everyone is familiar with and national media know are constantly highlighted as core to Patriots success. The players i think Patriots couldn't have won a Superbowl without aren't duds but they aren't really considered Patriots heroes either. I'm talking about guys like Martellus Bennett who took over and carry TE spot after Gronk injury, Alan Branch who came in and was instrumental in winning 2 Superbowls, Brandon Browner who set up Butler pick with a superb play on Kearse.

Who are yours,

Where does Ja'Lynn Polk sit in conversation around biggest Patriots Draft busts in last 25 years

I seen an article about the biggest Patriots busts and Polk got an honorable mention but amazingly to me wasn't in top 5. I have sympathy for players drafted in late first / early 2nd round as many fans forget that usually drafts only have 10-15 players with actual 1st round grades but when you attach 1st round or top 50 pick to a player the assumption is that they should be a good NFL player. However Polk was so poor and Patriots basically gave up on him almost immediately that the stands out. He's not like Harry that suffered a severe injury that cost him to miss a significant portion of rookie development or Strange who struggled badly with injuries after 1st season. For me he probably is the most disappointing pick.

If Patriot fans want to dine at their local Olive Garden prior to their season opening game against the Seahawks, they will need to plan accordingly. Instructions and tips below.

As everyone knows, Foxborough is home to The Olive Garden located at 392 Patriot Pl, Foxborough Ma 02035. The 7,441 square foot facility has a seating capacity of 246 guests, making it one of the hottest pre-game dining experiences around.

If a Patriots fan is planning to dine at The Olive Garden prior to kickoff, they'll need to make sure to leave early or they risk missing kickoff. Google maps shows the distance being 3,043 miles from The Olive Garden to Lumen Field, or an estimated 44 hours and 23 minute drive if they take the North Dakota and Montana route. Trip MPH averages at 68.56 MPH.

In 2026, the top selling car in the Boston surrounding area was the 2026 Honda CR-V which boasts a combined 30 MPG with a 14.0 gallon tank size, making the average driving distance on a tank 420 miles. We all know the CR-V could make this trip in 7.25 tanks but I must caution Pats fans to take additional caution and not let your tank get below 25%. Driving through Montana and North Dakota, gas stations may be sparse and you will not want to get stuck in the middle of nowhere by running out of gas. (Reaching out to Reddit members such as u/SoDakZak will help as he is very familiar with Quik Trip locations in these rural parts.)

Statistics support the idea of refilling every 315 miles to prevent unnecessary complications or delays. Unfortunately, that means it will take 9.66 refills to make it to your destination (10 gas station pit stops).

In the United Stations, gas station pumps are required to not exceed 10 gallons per minute, with an average of 7 gallons per minute, meaning it will take 2 minutes to refuel. See Federal Register Volume 61, Issue 124 (June 26, 1996) for law codes regulating pumping limits.

NOTE: This just covers time spent pumping of gas, not stretching your legs, bathroom breaks or buying road trip snacks. Don't blame me if you're late for your game due to these additional moments added.

Now, your 44 hour and 23 minute drive becomes 44 hours and 43 minutes. (10 refuels at 2 minutes each). AT BEST, you will need to leave by 9:37 PM on Monday to arrive at kickoff.

TIPS:

  • The 2026 Honda CR-V has a seating capacity of 5 people. Minimize delays by bringing 4 people who are of age to drive. This will remove and stops for sleeping. If you stop to sleep even once, you will have to leave by 1:37 PM Monday afternoon.
  • Purchase snacks for the road prior to leaving Massachusetts. Keep those refueling stops to 2 minutes as you can.
  • Amazon sells a Portable Travel Urinal that you each should buy. Don't stop for pee breaks and don't make those refueling stop even longer because some dude has to pee. Be a man and use a portable urinal. With Amazon Prime, they typically ship in 4 days so order ahead of time.
  • The Olive Garden typically has their Never-Ending Pasta Bowl promotion in September. This is huge. That said, I want to replace this tip by pointing out that I served at The Olive Garden (different location) while going to college as a server. Get extra pasta for the road. Do not treat your server like they're stupid. When you're slowing down and want extra food, they know you're trying to take it home and they honestly don't care. Give them a few extra bucks for a tip and they won't give a shit. They will have an issue if you order a bowl and when it arrives you're like "Oh damn I guess I'm more full than I thought. Can I get a to-go box?" Once again, they do not give a shit. Just be like "Dude can I get an extra refill bowl to take home?" This tip will help you take fewer stops. Pasta also makes you shit less, so it will save times pit stopping.
  • The 2026 Honda CR-V does not come standard with a spare tire, but does come with a Tire Repair Kit (inflator and sealant). Consider buying a spare tire or upgrading trim package that includes the spare tire. According to the Montana Department of Transportation, rural highway segments of Montana can see tow truck wait times of 2-3 hours. Google AI shows that 20%-30% of the time a tow truck driver misses their quoted arrival time. If you get a flat and you're not carrying a spare tire, odds are you will miss the game completely.
  • Now, I know people will be wondering how much time to allot for parking once they arrive at Lumen Field and entering the stadium. My recommendation is to not allot any. I know that sounds contradictory but with this being the opening game of the season for the Seahawks, they will be having a ceremony to celebrate their recent Super Bowl win. You might want to miss this part anyway.
  • There is an Olive Garden located at 310 Strander Blvd Tukwila Wa. 98188 that is roughly 10 miles away from Lumen Field. Consider eating at this location to reduce time between dinner and kickoff.

I'll leave the chat open below for any additional tips to consider for making the drive on time for the game. Best of luck to everyone and drive safe.
